Hey everyone! :) It's my first post! :) And I have a question about tickets!

Planning a trip possibly the week after Thanksgiving (I know, that is coming up quick!) and I'm looking at ticket pricing options.

We are considering doing some other area things, so we are looking at the City pass (3 days Disneyland, one day Sea World, one day Universal and one day San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park). I found some City Passes at Costco online for 175 (adults) or 140 (kids) plus shipping and handling.

Anyone know of any better deals on the City Pass out there than that?

Or if we were to break them up and buy them individually (like maybe take out Universal? Where are the best places to buy individual tickets to Disneyland, Sea World, Wild Animal Park or Zoo?

Thanks!! :)

One thing I would look into is if you get points in ANY form see if you can redeem them for Disney tickets. In 2005 we used points from a store loyalty card for our tickets, and this time we used our visa points. So before you look for great deals make sure you can't get them for free first :cool1:

The reason we never go for the City Pass is because it adds things we don't want to do. Like I don't really ever feel the need to go back to Universal Studios or Sea World. So unless you would be going to those places anyways, I wouldn't consider it a great deal.

Zue.. thanks for that advice. I don't think any of our points things offer them. :( But I'll double check that.

My daughter LOVES all things ocean and honestly will probably be more excited to go to Sea World than Disneyland (I realize this may not be the board to say that... lol!) so I figured we would give it one day of our trip. Some relatives we have in San Diego have Zoo/Wild Animal Park passes, so they could go to those parks with us for that day (which will be fun!). So I'm basically looking at needing to buy Wild Animal Park or Zoo tickets, Sea World Tickets and Disneyland tickets already. We could devote one day to Universal, although we're just doing that because it comes on the pass. We wouldn't go otherwise. But if buying the other tickets will get us free Universal passes on the City pass for the same price, then I guess that's cool... anyway that's why we are thinking City passes for us. We've never got them before, so it might be something different to try.

One tricky way we've gotten the tickets through points is redeemed them for gift certificates at a department store that has a travel agency. Soooo it isn't directly offered but in a round about way it works :D
