My first podcast impression: Pete's voice...

is wrong. He is supposed to sound like Christopher Reeve. That's the voice I expected.

Please work on this, Pete.

Until he can fly, he's no Superman. I just meant Christopher Reeve's voice. That's the voice I expected. Or similar, anyway. The voice I got was all wrong. I'm sure he'll be practicing his new voice just for me.

And I didn't say that it was a bad voice, it just isn't right, that's all. If he'd sounded like Robert Preston (who had the best voice ever!), it still would have been wrong.

The other people I never heard of, so their voices are all fine. But I had a Pete voice in my head. This is like a Video Killed the Radio Star kind of thing. The real thing is rarely what you imagined (again, doesn't make it bad.)

I actually saw that video the first time it was ever shown on MTV - or I should say that was the actual first video shown on MTV. Oops - now I just showed my age.

And you're right about Robert Preston. What a great voice.
