Hello! When you get these pins, who are they from? Just wondering if I should have signed up somewhere I didn't know about Is it just valid for value resorts? Thanks and congratulations!

The email sender is Disney Destinations. I believe there is a post in this section about how to up your chances of getting a pin, but basically I think it sums up to signing up for an account at www.disneyworld.com and marking that you want to receive offers from them. I also just recently saved an online quote for a trip to WDW when I was logged into my account. Also doing the online request for a vacation DVD will get you into the system. But after getting into the system, it is very random on who will get the codes.

Values are $59 for 8/9-8/18, 8/22-10/1 (28% savings)
Mods are $89 for 8/9-10/1 (40% savings)
Deluxes are $139 for 8/9-8/15, 8/21-8/23, 8/28-10/1 (42% savings)

I am so sad it wasn't the dining offer! We usually stay in a value, so the dining is a much better deal for us (plus, we are hoping to go in December, so these dates don't help).

That doesn't sound crazy! Different deals work for different people. I am just banging my head against the desk because of the two pins that apparently went out today, I didn't get the one we could use! Oh, well. I am still hoping some pixie dust comes our way, but my obsessive compulsive planning self would have loved to have an offer we like before Southwest opens their December flights next week!

I received the same offer as "MickeyMomTo2".

Select Disney Moderate Resort for $89 for 8/9-10/1 (40% savings)
Select Disney Deluxe Resort for $139 for 8/9-8/15, 8/21-8/23, 8/28-10/1 (42% savings)

It doesn't mention what the 'select' Value or the 'select' Moderate Resort is (are), but it does state that the Deluxe offer is for a standard room at the Wilderness Lodge or the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The offer can be booked through 7/15 and was sent by 'Disney Destinations Marketing'.

Alas - if only the offer had covered the first couple of weeks of December - I might have made a reservation at AKL!

It's a PIN-ny day, huh? I just received the room-only one, same as MickeyMomTo2 and Bstanley. I didn't really have a trip planned, but seeing as we have APs and it's "just" a 10-hour drive for us, I think I'm going to give Disney a call this evening!

Funny how that happens, isn't it? I just spent the weekend pricing & re-pricing different pkgs and saved all of them under my acct (one for Thanksgiving week and one for Christmas week).

This exactly. Do you think maybe I could call Disney and sweet talk my way into exchanging the room discount for FD? We're going regardless but would love to book our package before airfare in case we have to tweak our dates to get an offer.

Perhaps you and I could switch identities. Just kidding, of course, but it would be nice if we could exchange! We are probably going too, but like you said, it would be nice to have concrete dates for a discount before booking airline tickets. We will be using Rapid Rewards tickets, and that limits us even more.

My pin came from Vacation@registration.disney. I'm hoping for another pin later. My pin is not valid for the dates of our upcoming trip. But starting to get pins is hopeful.

Hey everyone, just so you know... I know it looks like Thanksgiving week is blocked out, but I just booked Nov 20-27, and she said I definitely get free dining every day!

Problem is, crowd levels are at 9 every one of my days, so I am thinking about switching to the week before. I only will get to go 4-5 days if I do that, though.
