My first disign

So, all of you wonderful people on this board inspired me to try to create something special for the surprise MNSSHP trip for my boys. (This is where I am starting at least; who knows how much I'll end up doing as this is really addictive.) I started with autograph books and just finished the cover. Anyone who sees something that could be added or changed, please feel free to offer suggestions! I am really new at this and don't want to mess up anything too bad!

Back cover for the photobooks:

eta: I couldn't help playing and changed it up a little till I was happy with it and added a cover for the back of the photobook. I still can't stop playing with it. You learn a lot when you make some mistakes to start.

Can I make one change.

Where you have "Princess Grace's Autographs" and the year. Try a shadow or on outline on them or maybe a slightly darker color. The words, to me, are blending into the background a little to much.

But the design is great!!

Your Universal designs are awesome too!!

Thank you for all the kind words. This is just for fun. I wanted to make some special things for my boys and a friend's daughter.

Maize ~ Thank you for the suggestion! I kept trying to make it darker and it wouldn't. Then I realized it was the order of some of the layers that was preventing me from editing the text! I'll eventually figure out how the stuff works and navigate much more smoothly and progress to some better things. I am having so much fun (maybe a little too much as my laundry still isn't done ) and thank you all for all your help and feedback.

Maize ~ yay, thank you for the help. I am using photoshop elements 8. I still have a LARGE learning curve to figure out what all it will do and how to make it do what I want. I was working on autograph pages last night and trying to create papers and such. I'll get there eventually! I am having fun trying and learning though.
