sorry, i cant answer any of your questions, but welcome to the boards :)
oh, i can answer one, i've been mid to late june before, its very hot and busy!

Hi and welcome to the boards! :welcome:

Cant help you with Hawthorn Suites as I have never been there but im sure someone will be able to help you.

We were in Orlando until mid June last year and found the crowds ok, but you will notice that its busier than September. As long as you organise your days to the parks you will be fine. We used Tour Guide Mikes vacation planner for all the Disney parks and used the busy days guide on the Brits Guide website for the other parks.

Welcome to the DIS Boards :yay:

Never been in June, but certainly weather wise it's a nice time to go :)

I don't think there are any major US holidays in June so crowds should be OK.

Hi, welcome to the Dis! :thumbsup2

I went there with my kid in mid-June '07 and while it was very busy at times, the crowds were manageable with some planning. I would take advantage of the busy-day guide and the published EMHs and plan your days around that, avoiding the EMH parks whenever possible. A link to the busy-day guide is here;

The EMH hours/parks are listed on this link;

Any other questions you have, feel free to ask :)

Hi and welcome

Good luck with your trip! If you can drive in England you will be fine over here:-)

Hello from sunny East Sussex :)

Just to say June can be nice and you will catch the summer concerts at Epcot as well :thumbsup2

Hi and welcome! :thumbsup2

I've been in June several times and whilst it is busy - you can get loads done. Happy planning!

Welcome.
Sorry can't help with hotel or dates, one month we have not been. LBV is my fave place to stay, everything you need there or close by. Even a Sweet Tomatoes opening this month.:cloud9:
Hope you enjoy driving as much as me, don't enjoy it at all here but love driving in Florida.

Welcome to the forums, WSussex. :goodvibes

Sadly, I can't help you with the Hawthorn Suites either. If you don't get a response to this thread, try starting another with that in the title - there's sure to be someone here who can help.

Mid June marks the start of the US schools' summer break, so that's when the crowds start to pick up. It'll be busy, but less so than throughout July and the first half of August. There are a couple of events around that time - Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios and Gay Days (an unofficial event), but neither of them will make a significant impact on overall crowds. Weather-wise, you're also starting to get into the territory of the infamous Florida showers and humidity, but things can be as unpredictable there as they are here in the UK.

Hi - I haven't stayed at the Hawthorne Suites but I've heard good things about them from others who have.

As Deb said - Gay Days don't make an overall impact on overall crowds but it's a good idea to avoid the park they're visiting on that day. Not only can they make the park more busy but I remember Pete Werner writing something on here about lewd public behaviour and stuff at gay days and that it was best to avoid it with families.

You can check out the gaydays site to see where they will be on each day: http://www.gaydays.com/

I think this was the article I read: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-gay-days.htm

Hiya, Can't help with the Hawthorn Suites but we are going in over June/July next year. Our first trip was mid-end June 2006 with a Sep/Oct trip in 2007 and I can hoestly say that we preferred summer. Although it was much busier with the parks being ope lnger we did so much more. You can take an afternoon break and head out again at night or even have a rest day but head out at night. I'm sure youwill have a great time and find a way to make it work for you. Roll on 2010!

Thankyou for all your replys!

Bit nervous about the crowds in June - have been spoilt by lots of quiet times in Sept but as eldest start secondary school in the Sept had to go earlier in the year.

Will put question about Hawthorn Suites in thread title for more info - thanks guys x
