My First Dining Report!! BOG dinner

I only have 2 pictures for the next two updates. :(

First is a funnel cake, a snack we had after Biergarten while waiting in the CP line. I'm not sure what it is about these funnel cakes, I always have to have at least one! It is kind of like Disney popcorn to me - it just tastes better there!

The next day, December 3, we did Animal Kingdom in the AM, Ohana dinner and then MVMCP.

I only snapped one picture of our AK meal, which was Y&Y counter service. i had the honey chicken and it was very good and a huge portion! It also had a lot of big chunks of veggies, which I picked out, lol. Very filling and lasted us all the way to our Ohana ADR.

Thank you for your review.

NPH--SO Exciting!!!!!! Almost as exciting as date night!

Looking forward to reading more. :flower3:

I took a little time off because we went back to WDW last week for a competition at WWoS. I will add those reviews to my report, they include Garden Grill, Everything Pop, Brown Derby, Tutto Italia, Tony's and repeats of Yorkshire Fish and Chips and Boulangerie Patisserie.

Next up... Ohana!

Against the advice I usually give, I made a 5:05 ADR on the night of MVMCP. We have never been to Ohana and when this ADR was available I took it. They couldn't be running to late at 5pm, right?

We were seated as soon as we checked in which was a good start. We started with the bread which was good but sweet. I could have done without since there was so much food coming up!

Since I always hear about it here on the board, I just had to try a Lapu Lapu.

Wow, it was delicious but really strong I thought. I loved the presentation!

After that the food started coming. First up was the salad, then the pot stickers and wings.

The salad was just ok, I didn't want to fill up on that anyway. The salad dressing has been changed somewhat recently from the honey lime dressing to I think pomegranate. I have made the honey lime at home and it was delicious but I was a little disappointed not to have it here.

The pot stickers were delicious! The wings were just ok, I expected them to be crispy and they were not.

Next was the noodles and vegetables.

Both of these were very good, but I was already getting full at this point and the main course hadn't even arrived yet!

On to the main course, my little one wasn't interested in the meat offerings so she had the old standby mac and cheese. They had other kids offering but I can't remember what they were. She loved this!

We had shrimp, chicken, pork and beef. I only have pics of the chicken and beef, which was too rare for my liking, but I was already full at this point, so I didn't ask for any well done pieces.

Lastly was dessert. Omg, this was fantastic and I don't even like bananas! It was warm and the ice cream was melting a little bit, and then the sauce... yum! It did not taste overly like bananas which I was thankful for.

We will definitely do this meal again!

Very much enjoying your reviews :thumbsup2
I simply have to get some of the mint choc chip ice cream from France on my next trip :goodvibes
Mmm, the lapu lapu looks yummy

Enjoying your report! Dining is one of the highlights of our trips to WDw but I have never done a report either. Going to LtT for the first time next month so I really am looking forward to it - even more so after reading your review!

It is so good! I hope you enjoy it!

Via Napoli is one of my favorites, I really like the pizzas.

We started off with some appetizers. I had the caprese salad:

This was a very good, simple salad.

DH had the Arancini (fried risotto balls filled with mozzarella and meat ragu). When I tasted it, I almost ordered another one just for me. This was truly delicious, the rice was perfect, just a small bite of meat in the middle and gooey cheese. Mmm....

Both kids got the Pizza Margherita:

Some how we got a little fruit salad, I'm not sure what this was with. I think it came with the kids meals:

Dh got a sausage pizza:

Now for my little bit of heaven. This pizza is talked about a lot here on the forum. I was a little apprehensive because I am not a huge fan of artichokes, but I decided to try it anyway. Oh my, this was so fantastic - behold, the Carciofi pizza (white pizza, artichoke, fontina, mozzarella, truffle oil):

VN is definitely on my list for next time, and I already know what I'm going to order!

I fell behind but am all caught up now. Still really enjoying your reviews - the VN meal looks particularly delicious!

We stopped by the Fish and chips stand in UK for a snack.

(sorry for the pic with a bite missing!)

We had never tried this before, but it was very good. The fish was crispy and tasty and the fries were so good. They reminded me of the fires at The Plaza in MK - very yummy!
