For those of you who don't know I started work again after a YEAR of "vacation" (aka unemployment

The place is about 30 miles from me so it's a HAUL but I made it in an unbelievable 20 minutes! I was there before everybody but the receptionists, and that's a 24 hour job. The lady who hired me, Tonya, called and told me she hurt her back and wouldn't be in till the afternoon but the Marketing Manager would be in to show me the ropes....
YIKES! I know Tonya very well, she's my ex SIL, so I was hoping SHE'D be there to get me through. Oh well,...
Well, no problem, the Marketing Manager came in and I KNEW HER! She was an old college friend of Tonya's that I met back when I was with her brother....UGH... but I digress... She and I always hit it off and we did again!!
The day was a whirlwind of activity. Immediately we went on the tour, the ones that I'LL be doing with a prospective client. She was looking for a place for her Mom and her Grandmother. We had a wonderful time, the place literally sells itself, and the woman signed up the same day!! WooHOOOO!!
Then we helped a new client sign a lease... it was like a real estate closing with just as many papers to sign. The family just so happened to be from where most of my family still lives n NJ so it was like a family reunion. They were all so worried about their Dad and felt so much better because "I'D" be there with him.... it melted my heart!
All in all it was an amazing first day. Everyone kept thanking ME for being there and I was the thankful one! Tonya came in late in the afternoon and everyone was singing my praises! She felt like she missed out on all the fun!
Honestly I would've been happy cleaning up after the elephants in the circus at this point, I was just so HAPPY to be working!!
