Well, I just went and finally did it! I used the advice for the free Ronzoni (thank you to that poster) and then went to coupon mom and planned myself a list. I used the store flyer which I never look at and actually PLANNED what I would buy. I did buy some things I have not tried yet, and I am not sure where to put all the free pasta, but overall it was so fun watching the total go down!!! I can see how this could be addictive, but I am not sure I have the time for all the clipping an research every week.

Any advice on how to make it less work? I love the result, but it took a lot of prep. I saved $46 total with store card and coupons. Any websites to make it easier?

Don't cut all of the coupons out of the ad every week. Just label the date on the circular and do your match-ups based on that. When I started I cut them all out and then would miss one and only realize it later after the recycling had gone out. Labeling them and holding onto them for awhile works better for me.

Also, you'll get faster at it once you get more familiar with everything. The first couple of weeks are the hardest. I've been doing it for about a year now and don't go to the stores every week anymore (except for fresh fruit and veggies) because of the stockpile I've been able to build up (without looking like a hoarder!!). It has saved our family a bunch of money and I've been able to donate bunches to a church's soup kitchen and help out my brother who is single and trying to be frugal.

Google "couponing" or similar to check out some sites. You'll be able to find tons, some are good, some are bad and some are WAY too churchie for me, you'll find what works for you. Good luck and happy saving!
