My First Cheat Meal

Well it's been two whole days and I've already cheated. Pepperoni pizza. I had WW points banked to cover my splurge, but still, it's not exactly a great beginning for me. Atleast the pizza was really, really really good

It wasn't a cheat! It fit into your program, didn't it? You counted the points, didn't you? Then no beating yourself up over this at ALL! You did FINE!

The beauty of WW is that you can work anything that you want in your program, as long as you count it! And you do!!! It is when you "conveniently forget" to count your points that you cheat.

Keep up the good work. Keep planning and journaling, and you before you know it, the pounds will be coming off!

As long as you had the points banked for it, then I hope you enjoyed it!!!! (we are going out for pizza tonight..heh heh heh!)

That thinking is so hard to stop, though, isn't it? Even if I have banked points I start the old "I cheated, I may as well have a beer to go with the pizza, etc" then you fall off the wagon!

So know that you are still on program and doing a bang-up job!

Melissa, that's the beauty of WW~nothing is prohibited, so you didn't cheat at all. But, like Harambe said, our thinking needs to be changed-and that's what is hard to do! Congratulations on sticking to your plan. Oh, and sometimes on WW, the higher points is when you lose. Not sure why, but it does happen. And I'm glad that the pizza tasted good. What a bummer if it hadn't! lol

Beth must have read my mind! Remember - we are in this for life. There is always going to be pizza, and a time to eat it. We just have to make sure we work those times into our new healthy way of living!
