My first black eye...

and it was caused by my novice attempt with smoky eye makeup.

First, I went to Sephora. I asked one of the girls to show me how to do it, she just explained it to me. I don't know what it is about Sephora, but I've never had a good shopping experience with their clerks.

Anyway, after spending almost $80 on 3 small products, it was time to give it a whirl. I had my instructions sheet in hand and I followed the steps... I thought I was doing really well until I looked in the mirror... OMG! I got my first black eye courtesy of DuWop Smoke eyeshadow AND my inexperience.

I guess I should keep trying!

Deff. keep trying...Once you get it down the smokey look, looks awesome.

I know what you mean about the black eye look...the first couple of times I looked like I had ran into a doorknob eye first...
