My first attempt at a pre-trip report...

I'm still here! YAY for online check-in!!!! You will be Single Digit Dancing tomorrow!!!!

I'm with you on the lists - its the only thing that keeps me at least a little bit organized. I currently have about 7 on sticky notes on my desk for various things...and we aren't even going to Disney, that's just normal life!

I think even my lists have lists. I have one on the fridge of things to pack Friday morning after we shower (meds, contacts, etc), I've got one in my purse of things to do, plus my desk calendar is filled up for next week with last minute things!

Secondly, how did you attach your LGMH? I've been debating on the best way to attach mine? Safety Pin?

After I laminated it, I used a hole puncher and put a hole in one ear, then used a spare key ring thingy to attach it to the zipper on Chris's park bag!

It's so close. I'm excited for you. I did online checkin for our 2010 trip and it went so much faster at the resort.

I know! I can brely stand it! This time next week, I will be watching the clock for noon! So this morning, I pulled out the suitcase that Chris insists we can SHARE, opened it up on the floor and did this... .... poor misguided hubby... I could fill this one up all by myself..

Second, you absolutely need your own suitcase. If you don't have it full on the way down, that's even better, because there's room for more souvenirs!

you are going to be in the mist of the magic in days!
love you idea of the LGMH! I had made one out of material I had bought put my name on it with a fabric marker had it on my bag...took it off when we were in cracker barrel--don't remember why? -- and did not find it again...must have lost it on the floor or in the parking lot...

Danny & I use share one large bag and I have one small bag for DS4 but I have to say it is PACKED!
I used online check in for our last two trips...LOVE IT!

So we are about done packing, just a few hanging things to go in at the last minute.. We have one BIG suitcase, and one carry on type, the smaller has all the toiletries and stuff, plus a set of clothes for friday night at the hotel on the road.. Where ever that may be! No worries about souvenier room, we got the whole back of the 4runner for that!!!

I'm so glad ya'all are going along with me here! I told chris today, this time next week we will be waking up in DISNEYWORLD!

The thing I liked about online checkin was the ability to add your credit card for room charges, that HAS to save some time at check in!

4.5 days of work to go!

Absolutley! Today, haircut. I've been putting it off, but it's nearly to my waist now and REALLY looking shabby. Tomorrow, taking one puppy to my mom's. Wednesday, pickup scrips from CVS.

Welcome! It's awesome to have a new reader! And thanks for the comp on my wedding picture, it's my favorite too! We'll be going back up to Gatlinburg for our anniversary in Feb, should I make a TR for that too!?

We are leaving Wednesday at about 2:00. We will get the kids out of school a little early (1:30 they normally get out at 2:15). The plan is to be pulling out of the driveway at 2. Hopefully. I'm having a delimma. I've been on allears.net, and reading some HORRIBLE reviews about Chefs de France. As ya'll know, this isthe dinner that I reserved for Chris and I only. Now I'm worried . The reviews say the service is terrible, the employees are snooty and/or rude, and the food is mediocre. I don't know what to do. It's so late in the game, I can't see anything else being availiable.Thoughts? I really want us to have a special dinner, bc it's the only time we will have alone for like... nine days. LOL.

I am sorry I can't offer any help here as we've never eaten at Chef de France. Have you gone to the Disney Food Picture thread here on the Dis and asked? Usually, when a person posts a picture of the food, they also post their thoughts.

I have been "advised" by DH, to "Leave it alone, already".

He says that some people aren't happy no matter what, and that they like to complain and what about all the peeps that LOVE it and don't say anything about it, that as long as its edible, who cares, its free and we are on vacation.

I love that guy.

Probably so. I'm an overplanner/thinker/worrier. He's a go with the flow type. I'm going to "leave it alone, already".

(I AM going to check out some reviews tho, see what people think is good to eat there!)
