My favorite gift came from my kids (well DH was involved). It is a Disney plaque that says, "If you can dream it, you can do it". Attached to the back is the okay to book a Disney trip during Christmas next year. (no one wanted to ever be away at Christmas, but now that they are older, they want me to get my dream).

So what was your favorite gift, or a favorite gift in your family??:santa::yay:

I sort of have two.

1--DH booked a Disney cruise on the new ship "Fantasy" for June 2012!!! I knew about it a week ago when he booked but we told the boys yesterday. Can't wait. This will be our first Western Caribbean cruise. Costa Maya, Cozumel and Grand Cayman.

2-My second one came from my boys (they are 13 and 15) Now for a few years in the past, MIL would buy something and say it was from the boys (since they never had money of their own) So this year was no different....we got a gift card to a restaurant. I was happy with it, I mean who doesn't like to go out and eat once in a while, right? But then I found out that my oldest son went and told MIL that he and his brother wanted to get us a gift card to the restaurant and that they wanted to pay for it with their own money. AAWWWWW. On one hand, I feel guilty that they used their own money on something for us but then on the other hand, it makes my heart just swell that he thought of something like this on his own and wanted to pay for it himself (along with his brother of course) It just made me feel like a proud mamma, I guess. :lovestruc

Mine was the sonogram picture from my oldest DD of her first baby she is expecting in July. :lovestruc

Wow! What wonderful gifts! Congratulations on your new grandchild!

DH bought me a gift card for a massage. To be honest, he is not a very creative gift giver so he always asks for a list of what I want and rarely strays from the list.

This was a luxury item that he thought I would enjoy, so I really appreciated him going off list!

My favorite thing wasn't really a gift, it's the fact that my entire family, including cousins on my mom's side are spending the week together in Florida. We started in Disney with my brother & it's been a lot of fun so far.

My next favorite gift is my Nook Color.

My kids came through with wonderful Disney gifts for me. Older DS & DDIL gave me 4 Mickey the Sorcerer collector plates, to go with the 3 they gave me for my birthday. (One more is to come, to complete the set.)

Younger DS & DDIL made a book from our trip with them in October. What a great pictoral momento!

It sounds like many of us were lucky to receive thoughtful and appreciated gifts from loved ones.

Wow...I really don't know....I got so many great things...amongst some other cool items DH also get me a ceramic model of the Disney Wonder ship and a Disney Cruise Line blanket that I really love. The coolest thing is that he got them when we were on a cruise together and I had no idea he had even gone shopping on the ship.

My favorite gift was that all of my kids were here!

Oldest DS has not been home for Christmas in about 6 years and this year he was with us for Thanksgiving and Christmas--so we have had some really wonderful holidays.

I was very lucky this year. A lot of my presents were surprises that I thought I would not get. So I have two favorites:
1. Tickets to see How to succeed in Business without really trying, in April.
and
2. A burberry wristlet. :lovestruc

Not something I asked for, but my DH got me a certificate to the local "frou frou" spa for anything I want (for $80...:lmao:). I'm thinking massage.

And not my favorite, but as a joke, I got a purple Snuggie. The best part of that gift though was taking pictures of all of us wearing it, doing something silly (like the pictures on the box). We had a lot of laughs last night!!

DH bought me an espresso maker. I have been wanting one, but the machines look scary to use lol. He bought me a simple stove top one. WOOOO hooo, I am on fire this morning. Lots of energy , bet I will have lots to say this morning and get the house cleaned really quickly. :rotfl::banana::banana::banana: ; )

I love them all equally. B ut the best gift was being home all day and just being with DH. The Old Navy techno hoodie is pretty cool though!

I love reading all your favorite gifts. It is nice to hear some "happy" things for a while. The stress of the holiday is hard on us all, and a little fun time is what we all need today. Keep the posts coming....

I especially like to hear about the "family all being home threads". I am a sucker for those, I look like this guy reading them and also watching those Christmas Movies.... :sad1:

I had a great Christmas: My husband is home for the whole week (he works out of town) :yay:

I also got a Garmin GPS and an Apple TV (I am a gadget girl).

Now I am trying to figure out when to tell him I booked Disney for next October :rolleyes1

Best one...... DF won a shift posting and will move off 3rd  Its been tough on him and us so this is wonderful :goodvibes

As for actual presents... I'm posting from an iPad... Love it :thumbsup2

My mom bought me one Walt Disney World Company stock, framed and personalized. :thumbsup2

I got a bunch of great things that I am thrilled with, some from my list and some not. But the sweetest thing I got is from the neighbor girls. They are 2 little girls, one DD10's age and the other a few years older. They all play together all the time and their family and ours will trade helping each other out in the mornings occasionally before school if someone has an early commitment ( our elementary school doesn't start until 9am).

They sent over a box with a bunch of little things and notes for everyone. All were found or made from around their house and they put a whole lot of thought into it. Their note to me was so sweet and they gave me "pretty things": a few pretty rocks and kids butterfly necklace with pretty pink and purple "jewels". I was in tears. I will wear it proudly for them. :goodvibes It is truly the thought that counts. :lovestruc

I was incredibly blessed and spoiled this year-- always am by DBF! My favorite is probably my black and silver Coach bangle bracelet. I love and appreciate everything, though, of course.
