I received my package today from PoohGirl71! She sent me two books. The authors were Anne Rice and Diane Mott Davidson. Oh yeah, the books were The Vampire Lestat, Book II of The Vampire Chronicles by Rice and Catering to Nobody by Davidson.

Thank you, Johnie! I haven't read either. I think I've read one of Davidson's books, Dying For Chocolate, but I'm not sure but the one I'm thinking about was about a mystery solving caterer. I haven't read any of Rice's. Can't wait to get started on them!

Ok. No delivery or shipment here yet, but I promised to talk about a couple of new books that I read recently...and which I highly recommend.

Something Borrowed and the follow-up, Something Blue ...by Emily Giffin. (yes, Giffin, not Griffin.)

Also, for any baseball fans out there, I can recommend The Teammates!! You don't need to be a Red Sox fan, although that probably helps.

I received my package from Pixidust32.

She sent me Dan Brown's book "Angels and Demons". I read the "Da Vinci Code" and have been wanting to get this book to read.

I also received a planner, a notebook, notepad and quill pen, two pens with fuzzy tops (one with Peter Pan as a topper and the other has Tinkerbelle), two little highlighters and some gum.

Thanks, Roxy, very much. It's always so nice to get a package and I needed NICE yesterday.

I've read both and enjoyed both. Dan Brown is on my long, long, long list of authors that I look for when I go to the library.

I'm currently reading Levi's Will by W. Dale Cramer. On the back flap is reads "Levi's Will is the haunting story of a fallen man seeking to reconcile the best of the old world with the lessons of the new, in the process building a bridge across three generations." I've enjoyed reading this book and getting involved with the characters. It tells a lot about the power of forgiveness.

You're Welcome! Glad you liked the book and the other stuff. I loved Dan Brown's books, I read the Da Vinci Code in english and then my DH gave to me in Spanish and the book was twice as big, and I read it again.I just loved it, now I can't wait for the movie.
