"My Favorite" Author Exchange - closed

The next phase of the "My Favorites" exchanges is for Author.

Just send something by one of your favorite authors. I have many so it all depends on what I see first at the store.

All you have to do is purchase a new, unread book by one of your favorite authors. This should be a book written by one author or maybe two in tandem. A book with a number of stories and a number of authors, say like "Chicken Soup for the Soul" would belong in the "My Favorite" book exchange that will be held in a couple of months.

The minimum cost is $5. This does not include shipping or freebies.

Signups will continue until Friday, Sept. 30.

The mail by date is Friday, Oct. 7.

Okay, this sounds like fun and I love to read, but I have a few questions...
Do we just send a book of OUR favorite author to the person?
Is it a new book?
Do we say who WE like to read?

I can answer....you send YOUR favorite author.
This is an ongoing string of exchanges called "My favorite" and for each item (every 2 weeks) we are sending OUR favorite to our buddy.
In return you will receive your buddy's favorite.
These are to be new books.
A chance to try out, perhaps, a new author that someone else really enjoys.

Okay, count me in...but one more question. Is it possible to send directly from say Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com? I live wayyyy out in the sticks and don't live near any bookstores and the closest Walmart is like an hour away. (I know, I know )

I've never ordered from B&N, but I know Amazon has a gift option.
