My Family Needs Some Major Thoughts And Prayers. Update post 8

I got a phone call yesterday from my aunt.My 39yr old DC has Cancer.
I just got through speaking with her just a minute ago, and she told me that the his left lung was already gone and has spread to his right .OMG, I still cannot believe it.We have been so close through the years and I have not seen him in over a year.He moved to SC to work.
He is at the Dr as we speak.We already no that is the aggressive kind of cancer and is inoperatable .We dont think he will try radiation.
His brother is own his way to SC to get him and bring him home.

So if you could spare some prayers we can use them.
He is just 39,I cant believe it .

Thanks everyone.
He has just been hrough so much in his life anyway and now this.
He was shot about 15 yrs ago and survived that,then about 7 years ago had to have one of kidneys taken out.He is a fighter and wont give up till the end.

They told him he had 6 months and if tried treatments that he might have a year.I really dont see him doing the treatments,he would be so sick for his last few months.Now if they gave him any hope then I am sure he would have.But maybe a year with the treatments,i know he want do it.

So we are all stunned and heartbroken.
Please say a prayer for him.

I will say prayers for him. I think I'd probably make the same decision that he is making. I hope if he lives 6 months or more that they can be good ones instead of sick ones. Chemo is so hard on the body. God bless him. I am sure since he has sorta of looked death in the face a couple times in his short lifetime that he has given this much thought.

I am so very sorry to hear this, Misty. Very sad. He certainly is in my prayers. marie just lost her cousin, 34 years old, this past weekend. Life is short enough without being cut down so young. I believe in miracles, Misty, maybe this time. He is in my prayers, along with you and all his family.

How sad. 39 is far too young. Lost my older sister at 44 and that was way too young as well. But I still believe in miracles. I'll pray for one for him.
