Last night my daughter sat with me for over 3 hours, going park by park, working around ADR's, looking up shows, times, and length, and then looking up all the characters they hope to see and the times they are available, we were both pulling our hair out by 10pm, but finally getting it ready to make fast passes this morning at 7am, then at 6:45 our internet went out. My daughter set her alarm, came down with her phone early, to help. Finally at 6:59 our internet started working and all fast passes were completed by 7:30. We did have to tweak a few things, and refresh alot, but finally got everything in the time slots. It really helps to have someone reading each park to you while you work on the FP's. In 2014 my daughters both said, "mom, this was the best trip we have ever had." Now they know WHY, because their mom, like everyone else on here works their butts off to make it a great trip for their family and friends. Yesterday I saluted our men and women who fought so bravely, my uncle did not return, today I salute the moms, dads, grandparents, and friends on this board that work so hard for their families to have a magical disney vacation.

The Magic begins again for us in 60 days!

How nice that you had he company AND one of your planning beneficiaries finally "gets it"! For our extended family trip with 12 people, My dad made his own resort reservation (but not the upgrade and changes when discounts came out) and helped me with booking 4 of 7 days of Fastpasses (I had already selected WHAT to fastpass, but he helped actually click through the screens). On the trip, he realized all the other bits that had been done (by me) like ADRs, picking park days, researching best transport to/from certain resort ADRs back to parks, buying Memory Maker, how much it mattered which rides you chose for your FPs. . . . He bought me a lovely new Mickey watch to give me at the end of the trip ;)

It was really nice because I planned a last minute trip with my Dad and his wife in January who really didn't understand why I was making dinner reservations 3 weeks in advance (ONLY!) and that I scheduled fast passes and had us moving around the park. (I did ask preference of them and my kids). Well, we left Saturday morning and they stayed through Sunday. I secured dinner reservations plus 1 fastness for them and I got a text that they appreciated all I did because they tried to do lunch at Biergarten and they couldn't. I love to do it, and they love my planning. We talk for months going into it- everyone chooses which rides they are most interested in. I make it happen. Disney is much more magical when mommy is involved.

Yesterday was Memorial Day, a day to remember those who died in the service of our nation.

Veterans Day is the day to celebrate the service of all United States military veterans (though of course they warrant a salute on any day!)
