My fab but nutty boyfriend

you know when you have a good one!!!!my hubby is 13 years older than me, he said I will call you tom, yeah right,(they all say that) I got in 12pm the next day, my mum said someone has been on the phone for you! well that makes a change, they all say that??
:cloud9:
He phoend back 10 mins later.
Been married 17 years now.
I am so pleased for you, i know the feeling, I remember it well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's really nice. Shame there aren't more people out there like that. Yep, definitely a keeper :goodvibes

We don't have the heating on overnight as it makes us feel rough the next morning, and my OH would sleep naked in the snow if it was allowed. I have an electric blanket as I cannot abide being cold, and it is on low during the night.

This morning he saw the light on the blanket control and turned it off in case I got too hot. I woke up bl**dy shivering. Bless his little cottons...

Claire what a lovely thing for him to do :) Mind you I don't think every other women has to hear about it never mind be looking for something similar ;)

If he continues with this behaviour then I'm sure one of the boys can head round to his place and set him straight :drinking1 :rolleyes1

I loved reading that! 17 years is a wonderful acheivement, well done:goodvibes I shouldnt write it out really but i think when you know you know. I was with my ex for 9 years and married him, thinking this is as close as it gets and maybe i just dont have the ability to love like other people do. i didnt get it really. And all of a sudden 7 months ago my world was turned upside down and i finally got what everyone was talking about. i have never been the type to be bound to a man and fought hard to maintain independance in my marriage, i pitied poor people who seemed velcroed all the time and now honestly I wish i could be with him every minute. We met at a mutual friends birthday party and built up a lovely friendship over 3 months before we finally went for a drink. And i think it took us both by suprise how strongly we already felt for each other. he said i love you two weeks after that drink and there was no question I felt the same.
Dont get me wrong we are not perfect, in fact we had a very testing time last year where everything around us went wrong, not us, that put a lot of pressure on a fairly new relationship. But we are out of it so much stronger and closer, which I didnt think could be possible. he is incredible with my children, supportive of me in every way and even is encouraging me to do things I had given up on a long time ago ( I am auditioning to be lead singer in a band later this week, he has been pushing since the first time he heard me sing)
The age thing was interesting too as he is 7 years older than me, so maybe a more mature man is the way to go:goodvibes
gosh look at me gushing again! sorry people:headache: when it comes to him i tend to go off on one.
Thanks to everyone that replied though. love hearing your stories too x

That's so sweet Claire, he's certainly a keeper:thumbsup2

That's lovely Claire - he obviously makes you very happy. :goodvibes

Sara. :)

Just so pleased for you. You so deserve to have a good time and to be happy as I know how rough you had it over the last couple of years before you met your new fella (what is his name?)

It is so wonderful to have that gooey feeling all the time and can't wait to see them again. Hope you keep enjoying the feeling for ever and have the bestest holiday together in August. I will be thinking of you both :lovestruc

That's sooo lovely to hear Claire  he sounds like a true gent :goodvibes I have one of those at my house too, we've been married for 12 years and he still sends me flowers at least every 6wk's  I think he was swapped at birth, because he's nothing like the rest of his family :lmao:

I wish you both all the best for your future together

I have been looking for a piccy, but cant find one!! argh

Isn't it brilliant when you get that? I met Tim and the following weekend he moved in with me. We said we were going to get married the second night after we met and now we are - Sea Breeze Point in December.

We have no idea how long we have been together or exactly when we met which some people find strange, but the main thing to us is that we are still together and met in the first place. Wherever or whenever it was!

I hope you carry one having a great time and feeling gooey :lovestruc

 aaww that is such a gorgeous story too! And it is gonna have such a fairytale wedding to go with it, I will be looking out for lots of piccies this time next year. Its funny, i remember telling Michelle, my best friend (Angel659) about a week after we properly got together that I had found the man I was going to marry (which I vowed never to do again!!) and I never batted an eyelid about telling him the same thing. I know he feels the same. doesn't matter when or where, I just know it will happen one day.

I am so so happy for you, do you have a wedding planning trippie or anything? would love to follow your story:goodvibes

Duh just seen your signature, will go have a read!

A great story. :)

My husband John is just the same, if he is working from home he always goes and de-ices the car for me and ensures the inside is nice and warm before I set off.

Thats sweet,
It is those little things that make all the differance??
Some one at work, her hubby needs a kick up the butt, but she thinks he is great cause he buys her hugely priced jewllery, I would much prefer the tea in bed and a disney cruise!:confused3

We've both been married before too. Something that I find really unusual about Tim is that we both talk about our 'previous lives' which is something I have never done before. We have some real laughs about past experiences!

Yep, that's exactly how we were. Mom and Dad had a fit that this complete stranger had moved in the week after I met him and we were talking about getting married. They thought he was after my money or something - funny considering I don't really have any lol - or that I was going to end up under the patio! They absolutely adore him and we are all best friends :lovestruc

Oh there will be pictures alright! We have hired one of the best photographers in Orlando, and although it is only a small wedding with a select few going we want loads of photos of everything and everyone. I am a real camera tart but Tim isn't but I think he will be on the day :goodvibes

Thanks for reading my PJ!
