I saw a post on Facebook that said, "Get a Free Dog Toy" so I clicked it. It sent me to some printable coupons for PetSmart. It said that there is a $2 off any toy coupon and some of their toys are on clearance for $1.99 so with the coupon, it's free.
I had to go to PetSmart anyways because my dog happened to be there getting groomed so I printed all the coupons and headed over there. I checked out the clearance toy bin and all of the "cheap" toys (less than $5) were for dogs considerably smaller than my 100 pound malamutt
. We also have a 50 pound mix of something (bassett/boxer/beagle/Aussie???) but he would have inhaled those little toys too.
I started glancing at the leashes and collars and found a very masculine nylon collar for our "little" guy. It was regularly $14 but is was on clearance for $5. I looked at my coupons and there was a coupon for $3 off any leash or collar. Score! I could get the little dude (who at the time was at the vet being neutered
) a cute new collar. I brought it up and handed the cashier the coupon. My big dog was getting a little riled up so I was distracted while the cashier rang up the collar, but she had my attention when she said, "Your total is $0.18"!!! The collar had been further reduced to $3.07 so I had to pay the tax + $0.07
. SO cool! So now the little dude is styling in his $0.18 collar
. DH saw it and said, "You bought him ANOTHER new collar?" Then I told him how much it cost and he laughed out loud. "I guess at that price, it's hard to turn down".

Needless to say we went back and got the last 3 packs on the rack.
