My experience with a tour of Cars Land!

Well..I don't think it's so much having dinner WITH them..but they'll be there..I'm sure it will be crowded and so maybe won't see him much except through the crowd. :) The dinner the 9th will have Disney family member(s)..rumored to be Diane, so that would be amazing also.

Oh yes, I'm sure it'll be crowded as heck. I wonder if they'll be sharing stories about Disney or what not or if they'll just keep to a table themselves. Too bad it can't be like character dining with meet and greets :lmao:

LOL!! can you see that? In the description it says:
<<<JUST ADDED! New Details About the Carthay Circle Restaurant Dining Experience
—A three-course meal and wine presentation at Carthay Circle Restaurant
—Wines from the Lasseter Family Winery
—Greeting guests will be Cars creator John Lasseter and his wife Nancy, along with a representative from the Lasseter Family Winery
—A tour of 1901, the exclusive lounge for Club 33 members
—A commemorative Storytellers statuette
—Priority boarding for Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land
—Admission to Disney California Adventure park for the day you attend
—Complimentary valet parking at the Downtown Disney District>>>

But I see that as a walk through HIYA greeting and not a meeting at the door handing out Hawaiian shirts greeting:)
I am seeing that some folks didn't get picked for the previews..sounds like the place will be packed well before the 15th...if you think of all the people who have specific times to tour the park, and it sound like tons of them, most will probably be hanging about DCA or DL before or after...sooo..those hoping for calm before the storm may be out of luck. :scared1:

Ok thanks!

It sounds like the idea to have seating in the front has been changed but it WAS part of the plan at one point if you look at this concept art here:

That pic hangs (or did) in the Blue Sky Cellar, so that was the idea at some point. But I agree though, it would ruin the entire gas station theme if they had tables and chairs in front of it, so happy they changed it!

I wondered about seating in the front outside of Flo's also. We grew up with a drive in burger place that looked a lot like that. With the radio to order from your car and the girls skating out to your car to deliver your food.

At first the front of Flo's (although awesome theming) looks like they could have used the space better. But I imagine lines will fill it up and they don't want the lines going out into the street maybe?

Just got back from the AP Preview... There WAS seating out there. Just standard metal tables and chairs. They were kind of hidden between gas pumps. It didn't look nearly as bad as I thought it would. And they definitely needed it... The place was PACKED.

Yeah thanks! :)

Oh well, I'm not super enthused on it, but if you say it doesnt look that bad, then I will live! Just cant wait to see it. And it sounds like it will be a busy place for a very long time based on the reviews alone.
