We had the 3 park 2 day + 2 day free passes.
We were told to upgrade after we go to VB and not before (due to black outs).
We were quoted online pricing several times that it would be $39 + fees/taxes per person to upgrade to seasonal AP's.
When leaving VB, I asked to upgrade and he was hesitant due to blackouts.
When he finally agreed to it, his price was higher than what we were quoted.
We had 1 more day of tickets and was told we could sort out the discrepancy and try the next day or try at CS in the parking garage of VB.
They assured me that the CS area in parking could do it as well.
I called our agent and she said the gate pricing for AP was what they were giving us and that we need request online advance pricing at the garage.
The TM at the garage said they couldn't do upgrades at this time and I couldn't go back in but assured me we could do it at the park the following day as long as our tickets had not expired by us leaving the park.
Our agent called Universal again and they assured her that they would note it on our account that we should get the advanced online pricing and if we requested a supervisor we wouldn't have any further issues.
The following day we upgraded prior to entering the park. We got the pricing we were quoted and I upgraded one of them to a preferred. The total upgrade after taxes/fees for 4 seasonal and 1 preferred was just a bit over 300.00.
