So i called and spoke with CM Diane, who was immensely helpful, and she helped me book a package. My original request was for All Star Movies package to keep costs low hoping for an email or postcard code to use later on. So everything was booked and i was about to hang up when i asked her to check Animal Kingdom for me. So she checked and told me the rate. $215 a night. So then i said, "what about codes for that time period?" and she said "well we don't show any for you" which i quickly interrupted and said "no, i have a code i'd like for you to try and use" which she quickly said "oh ok." Without me even tellling her the code she said, "well we do have a code ***" for that time period which we can try" and i politely said "oh ok." So she punched it in and gave me a 6 night AKL at $182 Savannah room view w/bunk beds.

I'll eventually change that to 2 queen beds, but at least i'm in with the code which will not be removed as long as i do not cancel the reservation. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tip:
Just make your phone call and get to the end with a price quote. Right before you hang up, ask if they can try to use a code on the package or room-only reservation. If they ask, then provide it to them. In my case, they were very well aware of it and seems they can use it as an upsell, but it appears some CM's have to be coaxed into using it. It's better for someone to pay rack rate than to give them a code for obvious business reasons. But it seems that once they are confronted with the code issue, they are willing to help...at least from the posts from other members on this board, some/most of the time. Good Luck
