I called at 9:58 CST (7:58 PST) and chose 1 for tickets (I could NOT remember if I should pick 1 for tickets or 2 for dining!). I was on hold FOREVER til a CM picked up. She had no clue what I was talking about and told me to hold, that she thought I might need dining. Transferred me to Dining and that CM had zero clue what I was talking about. She told me "I think you should be back with ticketing." By this time it was close to 10:30 CST and I had a feeling the tickets were selling (possibly sold) out. I was transferred to a 3rd CM who, also had no clue how to book these tickets (or that this even existed *sigh*), so he took my info, told me he was submitting a claim and someone who did know about this would call me back ASAP. *BIG SIGH* I told him I know these sell out quick, I really need these tickets for this day, and to please and have someone call me back as soon as possible.

Two hours later...still no call :confused3

By this time I'm at my local amusement park with my sister and our kids, and she tells me to give them a call back. So I did! I pressed "1" again for tickets...got a CM who was like 'I'm not sure how to book those, but let me put you on hold for a second." I got a bit snippy that I had been waiting for a call back, blah blah blah..." and whaddyaknow, he put me on the phone with a "Robert" who KNEW HOW TO RESERVE THESE TICKETS FOR ME!!!!!!!

He was fantastic! Told me the 9:00 p.m. show was just about sold out, but there were 4 seats still available. He went in-depth about how to pick up my tickets, to get in line about 7:45 because at 8:00 they do the seating assignment, that we can stay in our seats after Fantasmic to watch the fireworks, etc. etc. He definitely knew his stuff!!!

Man, I was stressing big time yesterday morning - LOL! back Did anyone else have problems like this trying to reserve their seats??! I'm so glad I called and got these tickets! I can't wait for next month :goodvibes

Hi,

What number did you call? Good thing you were persistent despite the fact you kept getting people who didn't know what they were doing.

The direct line to reservations for Fantasmic, tours, etc. (I always think of it as the number for the stuff I need to pay extra) is 714-781-4400

wow what the heck.....i just wanted to add something here seeing as how you had so much trouble....i know they tell you to get in line about 7:45 but actually I would go even earlier than that...Ive done this a number of times and i remember even one time where i happened to walk by and they were standing out by the podium at 6 pm with a couple people in line already...if i hadnt known that i would have ended up being put in the back row or something and its too much money to pay out to put baby in the back corner:lmao:...so just a suggestion:thumbsup2

Mary Jo, yep that is the number I called!! I.could not believe how clueless the CMs were!

Wow! They'd better get some informed CMs in there. Your reservation was pretty standard. I agree with you.

Glad you got the reservation, though. Now you can enjoy the show. Like it was stated before, people will line up earlier than 7:45 to get seats for the show. If it's not important to you to get the front row, then don't worry about getting there earlier, but if you want to get front row then you might want to get there early. The trade-off is that you will lose time in the parks while you wait in line, so in my opinion it's not so important. My personal preferred seats would be either the front row or the last row because the little ones can stand if they want, and room to get up or stay seated.

What does the F! Dessert entail and how much is it per person? Do you have to call 30 days in advance? I can't find any reference to it on the DL website. TIA!

Yes, it's 30 days out to make reservations, and it's $60 a person. I believe there is a Fantasmic thread around here somewhere with info about it. But it gives you seating and a wonderful dessert box filled with yummy desserts, cheese, and fruit, and CMs serve you coffee, hot chocolate or soda while you watch the show.

We have found that lining up around 7 is usually sufficient to get decent seats. We prefer to be in the center section rather than the one that is near the check in podium, so getting in line earlier can help us get that section.
