My wife and I were at the Magic Kingdom Saturday for day two of the 50th. I had expectations that it was going to be extra busy and in some cases I was correct, but in other cases I was surprised. The only rides I saw that had long wait times were Seven Dwarfs, Haunted Mansion and the Jungle Cruse. We went straight to Thunder Mountain Railroad and only waited 15 mins then straight to Splash Mountain with only a 20 min wait. The Emporium was pretty busy but not like what I saw in videos of the day prior because I assume the park put in the lines to enter.
I have to say my over all experience was great, the cast members were very nice and accommodating, the guest were respectful and the food at Liberty Tavern was really good.
We did park hop to Epcot for Food and Wine which was also a good experience eating around the world before heading back to MK. Luckily we missed the little bit of rain by being on the Monorail.
One thing I do have to complain about is the Enchantment show. I know I know. It was good, but kinda disappointing. I did have high expectations for that and it kinda let me down. They had actually, more than 50 years to pull from. The show was not inspirational, tone deaf, flat and the music wasn't good. My biggest thing about Enchantment was the fact that the philosophy, the voice and the ideas of the very man that created the park 50 years ago was never even alluded to in the slightest. I mean, it's WALT DISNEY WORLD, And Roy as well who made it happen. These men had a vision. Wishes and Happily Ever After were way better.
I mean, it wasn't a waste of time, but it could have been better. It was just a collage rotation basically.
Other than that I do feel that I had a great experience there Saturday.
