My experience buying the DVC Sorcerer's Pass

So I finally decided to buy a new Sorcerer's Pass. I have an active pass, but wanted to buy, rather than renew. The bad news is that it took almost an hour, only because he wanted to be sure that on my next trip, it would recognize my current pass, but not activate this new pass. Without this unique problem, I would have been off the phone in under 15 minutes. But the good news is that I got the $75 gift card in under an hour. And I've already linked it to my other cards, so I know I have the $75! I was thrilled about that, and wanted to share. But unfortunately, he didn't know who'd on the new AP magnet-I hope it's Nemo or Dory.

No matter what he did, before I entered my first park I’d go to GR outside that park and ask them to prioritize my active AP over my new AP, and after I entered the park I’d go to GR inside to be sure the correct one was used. I’ve read this advice many times in the TPAS Ticket sticky, usually in response to a story where the wrong ticket was used despite efforts to prevent it.
