My English paper (grammatically revised)

Well I'm 15, Yes it DID have paragraphs they disappeared when I posted, and my teacher grades on how well we write and the imagery. Personally I'm thinking I should have just settled for his oppinion and not asked for my peers'. In that respect i was setting myself up to fail. I'm sorry so few of you liked it. I will try harder and let me just say I am going to continue writing no matter WHAT my critics are saying.

I just want to make clear that I don't think it was bad...I never said I didn't like it.

Weren't all these critical posts about how well you wrote?

You were not setting yourself up to fail. You got to experience the best of both worlds on this thread...the good and the negitive. You need to be able to consider the critical comments with hopes it will better your writing.

I think it was good, and not everyone here is well versed in what your exact assignment was. With that understanding, the comments might be a bit more direct.

I GREATLY hope you continue writing because you very well should! You just can't expect to receive only the comments you are looking for. I would hope you don't just put critical comments on the back burner because that would be your weakness.

I definitely encourage you to continue writing...no doubt about it your work shows great promise. Just remember that nothing in the world is perfect and you have to let in things that make it as close to perfect as possible.

If you were offended by what we said, you should just stop writing.

I've gotten, what I thought, were fantastic papers and when I got them back they looked like road maps. I didn't stop writing. I didn't get offended. I've made gorgeous pictures that were ripped apart by fellow artists and critics. But I still paint, and I still draw, and I am better for those critics.

If you're easily offended, don't be. I'm not attacking you in saying that the grammar was bad. The paper was over all okay, but the grammar did take away from that.

I hate works of literature that are called "amazing" and "classic". Just because I don't like yours doesn't mean other people won't.

Based on the last sentence, I think she is going to keep writing. No matter WHAT her critics are saying.

That's good, but I hope she doesn't just disregard what her critics are saying. That would be the worst thing to do, ever.
