Why do I keep calling him Flickr, guess I was thinking of that website? I turned 40 and can't keep my thoughts straight.

Irky, maybe you can catch him during your trip in October.

Now Vickie, I can't believe you posted that pic of my yawning, I mean really that wasn't nice. I'm sure I deserved it for something I have done to you in the past.

I just realized Jacob was walking through the park with the DS. I'm trying to put a stop to that.

Ok, I will try to do another update tonight was going to this morning, but Jonas has decided he wants to go to a movie, so got to get moving.

We made it back to the train station and headed for EE. I guess the rain drove everyone away because look how the park looked now:

I remember that I kept looking at my watch thinking "the park is still open isn't it? I thought it was open until 8:00pm." It was really weird that it emptied out like that while we were on the train.

Robert and Jordan decided to sit this one out, so it was just me, Jonas, Vickie and Emily. You notice I have the camera protected while trying to gain some airtime with my hand in the air.

We survived the Yeti once again and made our way out of the park.


Our trip back to POR became a very sad moment for Jacob. I was trying a lower dose of his ADHD medicine and by this time of night it was completely out of him and he was a wild man on the bus. He started playing with two others boys of the bus, twirling around the poles etc. When we got off the bus, I remember stopping to look back to make sure we got everything. I just had this funny feeling. As we walked away and the bus pulled away I asked the question, "Do you have your DS?" Jacob just starts balling when he realized he left it on the bus. We made it back to our room and called Lost and Found but they had just closed for the night. I felt partially to blame since I know if he had the other medication in him, he would have been a little more focused because he never just sits it down, he always hands it to me when done.

So, that was the end of the first day at WDW with Vickie and her wonderful family. We had a great time and the next day we planned on EPCOT!

We ended up getting him a new one, he is still upset about the old one because it was a Pokemon Limited Edition. We checked Lost and Found several times during the trip, even went back a couple times on our day trips, but never found it, but I think we spotted it at one point, but more on that later in this TR.

And you must be caught up on all of your work, !

I forgot to mention the end of our night, after losing the DS. We thought we would try the pool and Jacob was so wound up that he wouldn't listen to us about how to go down the slide. Considering we were sitting right under the lifeguard we knew this wasn't going to work, so right back to the room we went.

Now, I don't really remember much about getting ready the following morning, actually I am having a hard time remembering this day. Thank goodness I like to take photos. I do remember trying to call Lost and Found but they weren't open yet. Headed over to Epcot and thought Guest Services could help, so I headed there once we made it into the turnstile and Jonas and Jacob waited up front for Vickie and her clan. Now, glitch in the system. Jonas didn't bring his phone. All guest services did was hand me a sheet of paper with the phone number of Lost and Found on it. So I called and spent 15 minutes on hold. I finally gave up and met up with everyone else. They had all stopped for a bathroom break.

So once we had all met up, Jonas went to get FP's for Soarin' and we headed over to M:S. I remember Vickie and her clan spotting Spaceship Earth and there was a line. I told them we should wait because everyone hits it when they enter the park and we could do it as we leave and the line should be down.

We headed over to M:S:




This is one of those times when I really should have used the flash because the sun was very bright and right behind M:S.



Jonas finally caught up to us and we got in line:



Jonas and Jacob had to show what MEN they were and rode the extreme side, the rest of didn't want to chance it, that's the back of Jonas in this photo, see their line and our line:


Another reason to be chicken, the line is always shorter.





Of course we made it to Mars and back before Jonas and Jacob, so we decided to play the game:



Ok Vickie, were you waving at the girls here?



I can't remember, seems like our team won the game though.



Not very excited about the win though.





Getting out of the store is always a battle with Jacob. I think he could spend all day in there, but we finally got everyone out and were on our way.

At this point it was time for Soarin', but I decided to head over to Lost and Found because I had tried again to call and kept getting cut off. Jacob doesn't really care for Soarin' and I have been on it a couple of times over the Summer and Jonas had not. So we got FP's for TT and then Jacob and I headed over to the T&TC to check out lost and found.

The lost and found is in the same building as the kennel.


I thought this was cute and one of those things we probably would have never seen if it had not been for Jacob losing his DS. I always try to find something good when things are bad.



And here is Jacob on the monorail:



He wasn't very happy when Lost and Found said they didn't have the DS.

Once we entered Epcot again I texted Vickie to find out where they were and she said they were getting on Living in the Land, so off to the Land we went.

Seems like a good stopping point as Vickie can fill us all in on what they did while we rode the monorail.

I think that would be fun to do. The boys LOVE looking at animals. And looks like some neat characters are around there too.

Love the EE video simmerbaggins. I will definitely have to try and get on that ride with DH at least once, maybe my parents can watch the boys for a while so we can ride. It was just being built when we went on our honeymoon.

That stinks about the DS, I fell like I read that story before though, did you post it on FB Melissa? If I'm wrong, you can laugh and think I'm totally crazy.

You could start your own website about which rides to go on when Melissa, Tour Guide Melissa I think you helped me a little about the flow of traffic in Epcot

You take the train over to Rafikiti's Planet, ok I probably have that wrong, but you take the train and that is where the petting zoo is. It is the only stop the train makes.

Yes, I did post the DS drama on FB.

Just waiting on Vickie to update and then I will. She tried the other night and the Dis was acting up and now she just has a lot going on.

My hubby was pretty tired from AK. I had started doing Body For Life prior to our going, and he did for a while, but had quit doing so much of the cardio, and with him having the backpack, he was ready to quit for the day.

However, when we got back to AKL, DGD wanted to go swimming. What kid wouldn’t? Well, actually, one kid did, and one kid didn’t. The adults decided that as long as the hot tub was involved somewhat, it would be worth it; Jordan decided she’d linger in the room by herself. This is the hot tub we went to; Emily made a friend immediately. She always does.

Then, the pool. Unfortunately, someone had a widdle accidente. Everyone was skeedaddled out.

Picture of DH wearily pulling himself out of the pool that I decided against going into. I was content to lay upon the chair…ahh.

Now, before I go into the next day…must tell you about another tradition we have. I started this from someone else’s idea, and put a spin on it. In order to save money everyday, buying little itsy-bitsy things, I buy multiple Disney items before we get to WDW. Then, every morning, before the kids get up, I lay a surprise down beside them for them to wake up to…it’s exciting for them and for me!!

They get a piece of Disney at the very beginning of their day, to wear or to play with, and it adds up – but not so much on the pocketbook.

I’m like Melissa. I can’t remember squat about this day, aside from the pictures. I remember seeing Jacob and Jonas by the water – and seeing how something wasn’t right. It’s almost like you want to be able to describe every detail of what is going on during the day – might as well have video, right? Only that didn’t happen much anymore, either.

Emily had gotten a new t-shirt with Minnie on it in the morning (her wake-up surprise), and decided to wear it that day. It was a beautiful day!

Waiting for Melissa, we went to the restroom…not a great pic, but I like this restroom.

I really think we’re lost without Melissa.

I don’t have any pics of us going into Mission Space, but I had been really scared of this ride. All the initial reviews talked about motion sickness…and after my ride on a fighter jet, I knew I couldn’t handle too much. So I was excited, but rather still scared of the “wimpy” side. But let me say – it’s fun!! There’s nothing really about it at all that made me queasy…it was really over before I could believe it.

When we were done and waiting, Robert & Emily began playing some game:

Then, we got in line for the big contest/game…

And we won!! I don't know who I was waving at, Melissa! It was exciting – here are our congrats pics for ourselves:

Next, I will just post a bunch of pics we took outside of MS and TT; the one where I am on the phone is when I was speaking to my mother. She had just told me all the bad things that had happened at our house while she was gone, including the citation she nearly got for watering our lawn during water restriction time.

He was, he still gets upset about it. Keeps apologizing. Even offered to wait until November to replace it for his birthday, but I couldn't do that. Not that like giving him medication, but I know what a difference it makes and if he had been on the higher dosage he never would have left that DS on the bus.

Yes, we were able to still have fun. At least I was, Jonas kept saying he was going to have to make a trip to Best Buy!


Vickie, your pics came out better than mine. Yup, should have used that flash.

I think every picture you have of me I am playing with my camera or on the phone. Oh, and the one with me yawning, so I guess I get bored when I don't have a gadget to play with.

So, I guess you still have the time away from me because you had nothing in that last report about Soarin.

Oh, and I guess it doesn't matter if you stay value or deluxe, accidents happen in the pools.

Right -- I've been trying to think about how that day went -- I know we went to see Crush, and Nemo...and I have some photos/video of that, but I don't remember the order! Also have some pictures of the Land...I don't know what we did without you, other than stand in line and ride the Living in the Land ride! I wish I had pictures of us in Soaring, because I really like that ride -- I love the feeling of flying, and it's perfect for that. Emily really enjoyed it.

JPFamilyMom, so glad you liked the EE video! I often wonder if people take the time to watch them...makes it more real for me, again.

So, we hadn't found Jacob's DS and now it was time to meet back up with Jonas, Vickie, Robert, Jordan, and Emily. We waited for them in The Land.




Now that I look back at these photos, I may have thought of a new job for me, family photographer at WDW. That would be fun, walk around the World with a family and take their pictures. Need a little more training first though.

After their little boat ride we decided we should get some lunch. We ate there in the Land, but sadly didn't get any pics except for the ones Jacob took of me eating. Sorry folks, not posting those.

From there we headed over to The Seas and rode Nemo:




After Nemo, it was off to Crush, which my family had never done. While we waited we checked out the stingrays. Have you ever noticed in every tank of Stingrays, there is always one that likes to come out of the water a little bit:





Time for the show:




We all enjoyed the show. Spent a few minutes in the store, Jacob wanted to wander around and look at all the fish, but I told him we would come back and do that.

Now it was time for Test Track. We were handed one of these:



I never like my pics inside TT, just too much going on, so I took a pic of the FP. I think the heat was getting to me.

After our wonderful ride on TT, we headed over to Club Cool. I had a plan, and I'm sure everyone else knows what it was, but Vickie and Jonas didn't.





And then I got Vickie. Now Vickie is Italian and Beverly is the Italian version of Coke, easy setup. She takes a sip:
