My DS4 just informed me that.......

:rotfl2: Aren't kids cute

If I listened to my DS4 he wouldn't go to school either. I would also be cleaning his room, not him. I would let him eat everything. He would live with Nana and Papa. He would have all of his brothers things...... and so it goes. :dance3: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:rotfl2:

At 7, mine indignitely told me "Mom, I NEVER said I wanted to go to school." I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

lol...

After the first couple of days of 1st grade, DD informed me school was "entirely too long" :teeth:

I was a preschool drop out...it was actually called headstart for low income families. I hated it. I would eat breakfast before I went and they would make me eat when I got there, guess they thought I was lying. I felt like they had me repeat things without listening to me. My parents let me quit. I never struggled in regular school and actually loved it....but there was something about the preschool/headstart school I just couldn't take.

he's quitting Pre-K. I guess it was too much for him. :lmao:

So, what was his reaction when informed that Pre-K isn't optional?

Yesterday my sister told my 4 year old nephew to get ready they were going to orientation for his preschool. He said he didn't want to go. Sis told him come on we'll go see your classroom I want to see it don't you? He tells her no I've already seen it, if you want to waste your time you can go. She's going to have fun tomorrow when he's got to go for the whole day!

:rotfl: I changed my DD kindergarten program in the spring due to teacher issues. When she was on the phone with my mother she announced that she quit kindergarten. My mother that demanded to speak with me to validate what DD just said - I had not told my mother that I changed her program. ;)

pre-k drop-out here too. my mom was glad i hated it as it was so much work for her with dropping off and picking up all three of us kids. in the end it didn't effect me..... much!

I told him next year in K, he would be going everyday. He said, "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" :teeth:

I think he is just butting heads with his teacher. She is one tough cookie and a great teacher. My DS and DD were also in her class. He'll survive.

If he had his way, he would be outside all day.

Aw, poor fella! Wait 'till he finds out 1st grade lasts a full day!

I took care of one little girl from 5 weeks old and when she went to preschool ...she cried and cried and cried.....she told her mother that Marie would miss her to much.....so she got to stay home with me......tried again the next session and she quit again.....but she is now 5th grader and does fine.....
