Curious if anyone has used this website to order costumes for their little prince/cess's. I would like to know about quality, customer service and fit. I am interested in the Cinderella, winter Belle (red velvet!) or Snow White. My girls are 2 & 4 and will be 2 years 4 mos and 4 years 9 mos during our trip in November. We are dining with princesses 3x on different days, so I was really leaning towards Cinderella for each of them with the slip for fullness. We will be at the Princess Storybook Breakfast, CRT for lunch :cheer2: , and 1900 Park Fare for dinner. As I said--all on different days. Advice, please! :surfweb:

I have three or four dresses from them. They are pricey. and flimsy. The fit runs a bit small, I think. I needed to order my 7 year old a 10/12. Without the petticoat skirt thing, they are really limp. Even with it - not all that poofy. We used ours for different dinners, but I found I went with the disney deluxe costumes more. They were better quality and just looked better over all. my girls use the dress up trunk ones for home play, and they do wash good, but I'm not all that please with them for the price.

I ordered my DD8 a Cinderella last year size 5-7 and I thought the fit was a bit big. She wore size 7 slim at the time. My DD loved it better than the costumes in the parks and Disney store because they are not itchy at all. My niece who is 10 wears the 10/12 but she is a very tall and thick 10 year old. She almsot as big as me LOL. They are not real full without a slip underneath but other than that we are very happy with the dresses. The dress is still in perfect shape a year later and washes up nice. I think the prices are very reasonable.

We have 5 of the dresses and I love them. They aren't as fancy as dresses from The Disney Store ("jewels" etc.) but are really soft and stretchy. (we have the non-deluxe versions.) They are also *not* itchy like our one very itchy dress from the Disney Store. There are no zippers, buttons, etc. The material just stretches as you put it on. My three girls use them as dress-up clothes and they've gotten tons and tons of use over the past years or two. They've held up great.

I've definitely not had the problem of them fitting small. My kids are all avg. weight, maybe slightly below average height. My almost five year old is in a 3-5 and the dresses are a tiny bit short, but not too tight anywhere. My 2.5 year olds wear a 1-3 and they are still pretty big on them. I usually put a couple of knots in the bottom to make it shorter so they don't trip on them.

The dresses are a little thinner perhaps than others, but I think that maybe makes them more stretchy for the kids? We don't have a problem with them being see-through or anything. We have one slip that goes underneath to make the dresses fluff out more at the bottom, but it rarely gets worn.

Hope that helps!

My DD has 3 of these and she has loved them. She cant stand to wear the itchy Disney store or park costumes. They arent as ornate and decorated, but they are 100 times more comfortable. We have the Christmas Belle, Cinderella and Rapunzel. I think that they fit true to size. I have been very happy with the costumes from mydressuptrunk

We have the pink princess dress and love it. My daughter wore it to BBB one year and then again for Haloween. It was a little long but otherwise fit great and lasted a long time. We didn't care that it wasn't poofy only that it was comfortable.

We have a Cinderella and 2 Belles. I love these dresses! They are very well made, light, and not at all scratchy. We also got the slip to add fullness, but it is not at all necessary. And $20 per dress is a great price!

I beg to differ with PP who says they are "flimsy" and "run small." On the contrary, they are light and airy and flowy, and I find them to run pretty big. My 6.5 year old wears size 7/8, and she can still easily fit into her size 3-5 Cinderella dress. Her size 6-8 Belle is long on her. And she is tall - 48 inches already.

I have the Snow White dress and do not like it. I've worn it twice to the PPP and it already has snags in the skirt part of the dress. The skirt part is very flimsy and poor quality. The top is very stretchy. It also does not look as good as other Snow White dresses I've seen. The sleeves do not look good and it doesn't havve the white collar.

I bought my dd a snow white dress from somewhere else and it looks more like a Snow White dress than the one from mydressuptrunk. It is also much better quality.
