I was wondering if you cared to share where you made reservations to eat at...I have been looking over a few places for our honeymoon i think he would like. I also didn't make to many breakfast reservations. I only made 2 character breakfasts. I decided that 2 table service meals a day is a lot of food already so breakfast can be counter service. We are on the dinning plan so we were able to make a lot of reservations. Not sure if you are on the dining plan or not.
This is what I am looking at:
Epcot: Nine Dragons (possibility) FI loves Chinese but pefers buffet so we may skip this one. FI also wants to try something from every country.
Animal Kingdom: Quick Service
Magic Kingdom: Tony's for an early lunch
Liberty Tree for dinner
Or should we try CRT?! My niece & I went for breakfast spring break & I didnt care for it.
Hollywood Studios: Undecided
I also want to book a dinner show for us. I have never been to one & FI hasnt either...Have you been to one or know any good reviews on one?!
Sure....I would love to
We are eating at the following places. Keep in mind that we wanted to eat in every country as well, but it's really hard to do them all in one triip. We did manage to get quite a few of them in though. DF has never been so I tried to make reservations at the places taht I know he will like as well as a few places that are new to the both of us:
Tony's Town Square (I have never been there, but I love the Lady and The Tramp and thought it looked really cute. I heard the food is pretty good)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (I have been here with my family on a previous trip and I thought it was so much fun! It's vey loud though, so if you are looking for a quiet meal or if you don't like to be involved ininteractive dinners then I wouldn't reccomend it. My DF loves things like this so even though i have been here, I booked it so that he could experience it as well. I know he will just love it. The food is really good home style southern food)
Beirgarten (I have also been here, but DF is part German and we wanted to eat in a reestaurant in the countires that we are from. It's a reallly cute show here and it is buffet style,so your DF may like it. the food is pretty good here.)
San Angel Inn (I ate here once for my parents anniversary dinner. I was only 11 years old though. I know it is absolutey beautiful and they have a mariachi band singing at the tables. I don't remember if the food was great, but I think it was pretty good.)
50's Prime Time Cafe (I went here with my family when I was like 8 years old. I don't remember too much of it and I here that it is extremely fun and interactive. All the serving staff are supposed to be like your mother/father etc. They make you eat your veggies and all that. My DF would really enjoy this plac eand I will as well. I hear they have really great pot roast and meat loaf and stuff)
Teppanyaki (sp.?) (We love habbachi style food and the show they put on cooking for you is always great the place we go to around here. I can only imagine that Disney puts on a wonderful show. Japanese food has a lot of ginger in it, so if you don't like ginger then I wouldn't reccomend this place)
Wolfgang Puck (I am a huge fan of Wolfgang puck and am really excited about eating here. Not sure what the food is like but I am sure it is amazing)
Tutto Italia (This replaced the other Italian resturaunt that was in the Italy pavilion. We are both half Italian and love Italian food so wer are very excited about this one)
Donald's Saffari Breakfast at the Tusker House in Animal Kingdom (The characters come around in safari clothes during this breakfast. It is buffet style and seems like it would be really cute. This is buffet as far as I know)
Rainforest Cafe (this is a place I have been to quite a few times. We used to have one around here and the atmosphere is great. The food is pretty good. My DF went to a RC once and he has been dying to go again)
California Grill (This place is supposed to be amazing. The food is supposed to be absolutely excellent. We made our reservation around the time of wishes because they let you go out on the rooftop to watch the fireworks. It is supposed to be romantic and amazing. They pipe the music in as well. This is a little over a hundred dollars a person. If you are willing to pay that or are on the dining plan I would highly reccomend this place)
Spirit Of Aloha Polynesian Luau dinner show (I have never been to this one, but have always wanted to go. I have heard the food is decent and that they serve a drink called a Lapu Lapu that is a must have. It comes in a pineapple and I am looking forward to ordering one)
Hoop Dee Doo Review (I have been to this dinner show when I was younger. It is so much fun and the food is pretty good too)
Coral Reef (This is a good place to go for a more romantic meal if you like seafood. It is a big aquarium and if you arrange to sit by the tank you can have a diver come up to the glass and hold up a signwith a message for your sweetie.)
Crystal Palace Character Breakfast (We are doing this for the character experience. I had a character dinner here once with my family and it was really cute. This one is a buffet style meal as well so your DF may enjoy this)
Liberty Tree Tavern (I here the food is good here and I believe the characters come around in colonial typle clothing, which is pretty cute. This is a menu meal and not buffett likemost character dining)
I hope I was able to help you out
