My dog was poisoned by my neighbor on purpose

This is the second case this week after threats from one crazy neighbor. We are needing prayers and support that our Champy makes it through tonight! Any advice on what I can do? We are in Ga. My kids are heartbroken and my poor special pet is suffering from one mean threatening women.

Champ is a very special Boxer that we have been blessed to love. Please pray for and offer advise on what to do.

What to do short term -- get your dog to a vet and hope that he/she survives.

Hoping you are at the vets and the dog is pulling through. Also call the police. It's a crime. - depending on where you live will determine the severity. Unfortunately dogs are treated mostly as property by the law. However some states do have more severe cruelty statutes.
Do you have proof that it was that crazy neighbor?

Of course, prayers for the dog! I hope the neighbor gets carted off to jail if she did it.

There was some wacko in the neighborhood several years ago putting glass in treats and leaving it along the curb and places dogs would likely grab it. Some people are just nuts.

I have added Champ to my avatar so all can see. Thankyou for your prayers and advice. Having problems updating and have tried several times, snow is causing problems w/ our internet. No news is good news we hope. We love and miss Champy. Thankyou all again for your prayers...I can do all things through Christ.

I did contact animal control and filed a complaint with the Sherrifs Dept. An investigation is pending. This neighbor has threatened another neighbor in the past week and their dog is dead and pending lab results. How do you console children(and yourself)with such meaness? I am a responisible parent and can not understand the meaness involved in this act against a pet? How do I explain it to my kids(13DS,12DD n 9DD)that someone could do this to a sweet pet? This woman sounds crazy! I sure hope that your dog will be okay. If they can prove that she did this, I would press charges for sure.

Were posts deleted? What did the OP post that made you say the woman is crazy? What details am I missing?
