My Disneyland Trip Is Cancelled

Hi,
I hate to be over dramatic, but, my Disneyland trip is cancelled. Because my brother's stomach has a problem. I was so excited to get back to Disneyland. I just woke up 5 am, having my breakfast, watch something on my ipad before get ready for my brother and sister-in-law to pick me up, when suddenly, the phone rang, I pick it up, and it was my brother told me the bad news. I was almost in tears I feel like going to back to bed. I was very disappointed and upset. I haven't been to Disneyland since 2019 before the pandemic started. And this for the first time (Well, kind of) I miss the Christmas celebrations at Disneyland and I'm not happy about it. I mean, sure, I can watch this year's Christmas Fantasy Parade and other things on Youtube. But, it's just not the same. I'm trying hang in there and I hope I go to Disneyland next month. Maybe that'll start for a new better year for me. But, for now, I'm very disappointed.

Thanks. He's doing okay now, but I'm still disappointed that my Disneyland trip is cancelled.

I’m sorry. What a bummer. Glad your brother is ok though. It happened to me last month. We had tickets for Merriest Nites and I started to feel sick a couple of days before and I thought I hope this isn’t what I think it is but yes, it was That... The virus that shall not be named! A month later and I still haven’t recovered (but am much better) but I know how you feel because I’m still bummed I missed all the Christmas, not to mention those tickets were non refundable. Hopefully you can make new plans to go back soon. Hang in there.

I had to miss it too because of a virus, not that one though. Everyone in my household got ill. I was going to go with my daughter, she lives in her own apartment so wasn't around us to get sick. She ended up going with a friend, but I'm still bummed I missed the party and being back at Disney again.

I hope you are all doing better now! We got tickets for Sweetheart Nite so we have that to look forward to.
