My Disneyland Paris trip may be CANCELLED!!

Ok guys, i am stressing out right now!

The Euro Tunnel has had a massive fire in it! It might not re-open for a few days, so we are praying to the Disney Gods that it will open in time for us to get our Eurostar train.

We are going to call our travel insurance company tomorrow just incase, but i am getting a bit upset! It is meant to be me and my boyfriends first holiday together, and his first EVER trip to disney.

I am coping by some extreme DIS-ing, whilst my other half is Xboxing the pain away.

I need some hugs guys!

I just read about this on cnn's website! This SUCKS! Apparently a truck fell of a train car and caught fire? Argh - I am sending you massive doses of pixie dust!

Trip is on Sunday, but its now been anounced, no trains tomorrow! Saturday and Sunday trains will now be PACKED. Probably on a first come, first served basis, so we will have to get there at like 6 for our 8.56 train!

Hi Wishspirit,

Ryanair have a sale on at the moment(no taxes), u may want to check out there website for a cheap flight one way to get there , might be a bit late but just an idea if the tunnel is still closed.


We got return flights for the four of us from Scotland to Paris for £88 yesterday for a wee trip in October to DLRP.(Oct 9 - 12)

I am sure it will all work out for you and have a fab time.

Update:

The fire is STILL going. We now think there is no way its gonna open. We are calling travel insurace to ask them what they will cover.

I am getting more and more upset!

i was watching BBC yesterday when it was first announced...(when they didn't know yet what it was)...

my first thought was also of disneyland paris...

is it possible to fly there? are any flights available at all?

or take a ferry across and then get on a train?
or is that just too much of a mess..
