"My Disneyland Birthday Party" with Mickey and Minnie!

Has anyone done this? Whats it like? Heres what Im thinking and feel free to tell me if Im crazy but its going to be my mom's 52 b-day while were at DL in October and Ive been trying to figure out something special to do for her. She hasnt been to DL for 40 years and is really excited to go back. So I thought this might be kind of fun for her. I know its designed more for children but hey arent we all still young in heart. There will be 8 of us DM-51, DD-55, DB-24, DB-22, DB-19, DW-28, DS-1, and of course yours truely. My wife and I are the only ones who have been to DL in the last 30 years, So were kind of in charge of making to b-day plans. Thanks a ton.

It's not just for kids. I did it for my 40th birthday! When I called to make the reservation, I asked if I would feel silly. The rep. said no! In fact, she'd just made a reservation for 85 year old twin nuns!

The party is at the Plaza Restaurant on the patio. After you sit down, everyone gets a cup of fruit punch and a little cake to decorate. There's an MC who leads the party. Then, Minnie & Mickey show up to take pictures with all the birthday people. I went up by myself while my husband took the picture. I didn't feel weird at all! My boys thought I looked funny, but what do they know? They laugh at everything I do!

I think you would all have a great time at the party and it will make the b-day person feel very special! Have a great time!

It is a lot of fun and totally worth the money! I did it for my 35th birthday!
