I was married at the Wedding Pavillion and had my reception at the Grand Floridian. Every detail was taken care of the there was never a stressful moment. I had a fantastic Wedding Planner and I still keep in touch with her and meet up with her on every trip. There are so many wonderful choices and I wished I could have had them all. For my wedding I wanted the small trees with the twinkling lights in the room. It was exactly the way I pictured it when I saw the final result. We wanted to pictures on Cinderella's Coach but we decided not to spend the money on that and use it for something else. The Major Domo as part of the ceremony was just the right touch and I still like watching the video and seeing his interaction with guests. I also had Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy at the reception and it was awesome. All the guests had a great time dancing with them. My biggest piece of advice for anyone having a wedding there is this....If you have the opportunity to have the early morning pictures at the Magic Kingdom, do it! It was a struggle to get up and get ready for those, but when I recieved them I fell in love. They bring you to the Merry Go Round for some pictures as well as outside and inside the Castle. I am so glad I agreed to do it.
The food was delicious and the cake was tasty. There was so many cake designs to choose from and that was the hardest decision I had to make. I opted for one that was simple and we brought our own wedding topper.
The wedding will be something to always remember and I am glad that I decided to have my wedding in Disney.
