My "Disney" wedding in Atlanta :o)

I loved how the balloon release came out- the Mickey head balloons were difficult to blow up, but it was such a good surprise to everyone who was there... no one could figure out what we had in those boxes :thumbsup2

The bubbles while we were dancing credit goes to a friend of the family. He'd seen it done at other weddings and thought it would make nice pictures, so he told us that we should :) Luckily, we'd taken a little more dance lessons (other than waltz) from my parents 3 days before (and even luckier- we apparently have a "knack" for picking dancing up!)

Thanks, Jonette :goodvibes Yours are beautiful as well- I really like the one you put in your siggy :thumbsup2

The mickey head cutout pictures ended up being the most talked about decoration at my wedding. I took pictures of Tommy & I growing up (as well as some engagement photos) and printed wallet sized photos & used the mickey punch to punch the pictures :)

Where did you get the Mickey head punch? I've never seen one. Thanks.

Amanda - Fabulous photos!!

What did the front end of your runner say? What is on Mary Emma's sign-on-a-stick she had at the reception? And is that a bunny from Build a Bear I see in her hands?

Nicolle,

I bought my mickey punch @ Memories (a local scrapbooking store)... but I've also seen them at Archivers (another scrapbooking store) and on Ebay. It's about an inch & a half punch... something like that anyway.

Jennifer,

The "piece of paper on a stick" was my wedding program. I made old-fashioned church fans (cardstock squares on large craft sticks). Since the ceremony was outside, I wanted people to be able to fan themselves, and I figured that they'd wrinkle up any other program I could make by fanning themselves with it anyway... it worked out nicely!

Yes, that IS a build-a-bear bunny you see with MaryEmma. That was her flower girl gift... it's a bunny wearing a wedding dress that looks almost identical to MaryEmma's flower girl dress :goodvibes

Amanda- I love your pics! Forget what your florist said, I think the white and red are gorgeous together. Nice choice :thumbsup2 It looks like you all had a great time! I just love outdoor weddings! Congrats!

Amanda, thanks for re-posting the link - your pictures are gorgeous! I love your bouquet and the Groom's cake is fantastic, what a cute idea! Congratulations again :goodvibes

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments :goodvibes

As for my aisle runner, I hate it that pictures didn't really do it justice! (It took me about 60 hours to do! :artist: )

When you face the "altar"/walk down the aisle, it reads "Once upon a time..."

When you're walking back up the aisle, it reads "And they lived happily ever after"

:-)

If anyone is interested in learning how to do it, it really wasn't that hard and I'd be happy to talk you through it!

If anyone else is planning on having a balloon release, PLEASE let me know BEFORE you start hunting for the ellusive Mickey head balloons. I've only found one dealer (in AZ) that carries them, and I bought FAR too many... they only come in an assortment of red, blue, and yellow. Think VERY primary colors... crayola red, blue & yellow... no pale shades here :)

They MUST be blown up by a helium tank though :) As for boxes for storing the balloons, I suggest bugging your local produce man at Sams/Costco. We got both of mine (FOXy Citrus boxes) at Sams. party:
