My Disney Store is Closing too.....Milwaukee

Are you sure of this - that the Wisconsin Dells store is closing? When I asked the emploee today if they were closing, she said they had gotten the news that they were staying open and that she was so happy to hear that she still had her job. I hope for her sake that they are staying open. It would be hard to hear that yes, you have your job, only to hear a few days later "sorry we were wrong, you better start looking for another one".

That list isn't accurate. It has 5 out of 6 of the CT stores closing. Only 3 are closing (Manchester, Meriden, Waterford). So, I'd take it with a grain of salt.

This was a list provided by a CM as of two weeks ago...just passing it along. For our state it was dead on and when I asked at our local store I was given the same info. Sorry your area doesn't seem to be accurate.

We have one in Sunset Hills and one in Chesterfield that are closing ...They always had the best deals...Thinking the lists of store staying open would be the shortest list.... ...edited : just saw the list OMG there goes all my disney in person shopping.....maybe they will open more

I was also told that the WI Dells store was on the original list of "potential" closings, but that when the final list came out it was spared. The manager of the Dells store told me this when I was just there. They said that because the Mayfair Mall store had it's lease expiring anyway and that the cost of that lease was so high they chose to close that one instead.

We're losing one too in Manchester, CT! There is another one not too far away, it's newer and bigger, but we always seemed to find great deals at this store! The going out of business sale being no exception. I too will miss it.

Bummer - these are the only 3 I ever go to!

I called all 6 CT stores about 2 months ago looking for light up spinners and they all told me they had none and didn't know when more would be arriving. I wonder if this was going on then and they weren't getting any new inventory. Does anyone know when the stores are actually going to close?

sorry, but Rochester is closing too. I'm a CM there and our whole district, except Syracuse is closing. 2 in Buffalo, one in Albany, one in Utica and us in Rochester.
Syracuse will be the only remaining Disney Store in Western NY.

In CT, Manchester, Meriden, and Crystal Mall in Waterford will have their last day on June 7th. From what I understand Trumbull and Danbury will be closed by the 22nd.

I'm the original poster of that list -- I copied straight from the official list sent down by the company. The only store that is no longer on that list (Disney decided to keep it and pull it out of liquidation) is Store #463 in San Mateo, CA.

As an example, I can guarantee that Trumbull is absolutely closing -- I've received a number of emails from that particular store in regards to liquidation (my store is in liquidation as well).
