I have read the info on allears and other websites.
Now I am looking for personal opinions from people who have attended the Tea!
Also...Are there any other teas, etc. where a little girl can dress up and have a fabulous time?? princess:

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=986469 There is a link to a topic ont his a bit ago. I have decided to go with this tea party with my 3 year old twins. I know it is a bit expensive but it is something I know they will definatly enjoy. We are also doing the princess buffet lunch at Norway and I told them they could take one dress to wear while eating. We are also doing CRT.

The Alice tea party sounds like alot of fun but my girls are not really that into Alice.

We went last February and my DD was 4. I had been warned that she was a little too young but we went anyway. I thought that I could afford it then and who knew what future trips would be like.

We loved it.

Your daughter is treated like a little princess from a showed of rose petals REAL petals to the pink long stemmed Rose Sleeping Beauty handes her personally at the end of the tea.

It was expensive but everything was first class and I didn't regret for a minute because the afternoon was so special.

For other places to dress up, well anywhere in Disney but of course the princess breakfasts are where you see the most little girls decked out. The 1900 Oark Fare Cinderella dinner is good as is any meal in the castle.

There is also a much less expensive tea with Alice and the Gang at the Grand Floridian I think it is around 25.00.

From everything I read on the Dis a few months ago, I decided to splurge and take my DD4 to the tea. We will be going in 2 weeks and I plan to give reports about our experiences. I didn't see any complaints about the price or food or ANYTHING on the boards because the experience was so magical for the little girls! princess:

Is it usually mother & daughter, or father & daughter?? princess:

My niece is doing this in March....there is a cheaper one as well. It is at the GF as well, but is around $28 I believe with the Alice and Wonderland characters.

We went last year and it was mostly mothers and daughters but there were 2 or 3 fathers as well. And it really is fantastic - well worth the $$$

I took my little sister (who was 6 at the time) to this tea in 2004. It was pricey, but well worth it. She had a fantastic time and got to take home a lot of goodies. She still adores the doll that she was given. She really felt like a princess the entire time.

The tea was very good and the sandwiches/cake was delicate and beautiful (though not a very filling meal!). The girls were given apple juice in tea pots, which they all seemed to enjoy.

In Dec 2005 we did both the princess tea party and the wonderland tea party.
They both were great but if money is tight do the wonderland tea party. Lots of the girls were even dressed up for the wonderland. Since it was MVMCP day for us DD wore (shes 5) her alice t-shirt and jeans.
She did wear her princess dress for the princess tea party and then decieded to wear it all day around the parks. She enjoyed the princess tea party but did get a bit bored with it and was playing with her doll for a while as Rose Petal sang and talked. It was fun to do once but I dont think I would lay out the money again for it. I would let her do the wonderland again next time if she wants to as that is only $30.

The wonderland tea party was nice but dd didnt like the food, didnt like the cake, wanted to play with the other girls instead of sitting and waiting for her time with Aurora. She says meeting Aurora was the best but we probley could have done that for alot less money than I spent on the tea party. It was a fun mommy and dd surprise for her but once was enough. It all depends on your dd. She does talk about being crowned a princess now and how only princesses can do certain things, like stay up late. Nice try Child! :rotfl2:
