I'm wondering if anyone has had similar experience.. hopefully I posted in the right section.

I just booked 2 rooms (and therefore 2 reservations) - one for my family and the other for my parents. Is it safe (recommended) to add BOTH reservations to my "My Disney Experience" account?

When we've done a similar trip in the past, I let my dad manage his own reservation, but we had a few problems with fastpasses and meal reservations. I thought it might work better if I just managed them both this time. I did pay for both deposits and would be willing to pay for both balances as well so that should not be a concern. I mainly want to make sure I can have 2 active reservations in My Disney Experience for the same dates (one of which is a room I am not staying in).

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I have not had 2 reservations with the new MDE yet, so I can 't help. But I wanted to bump this up to the top again in case somebody else can help.

you won't have a problem linking both reservations. I always do this for my parents.

How do you do this? I made reservations for myself under our account and my parents under my mom's account. No matter what I do, I can't get them linked. It keeps telling me that her reservation is already associated with her account and to contact her. Am I missing something?

You made your parents' reservation under your mother's account. Everyone else with multiple reservations made them without attaching them to an account at the time of the reservation was made. They then added the reservations to their own MDE accounts.

You will need to send an invitation to your mother's email asking her to plan and share. Once she accepts your invitation, you will be able to "see" her reservations and you can even choose to make ADRs and FP+ for her. But she will retain control of her reservation under her account.

I'm currently doing this for my parents with no issues. Like pp said, send emails to link/be friends. I'm computer illiterate (slightly better then my parents) and I've had no issues.

I've got 3 reservations upcoming this year and they're all on my MDE account. I've had no problems with reservations or fastpasses for any of the trips! And I have different length tickets on there too. Everything is dated and/or you assigned each item to particular people so I think that's what makes it work well!

I tried this multiple times yesterday. I could put in her name and confirmation number but when it would go to link them, I would get a "FUMBLE" sign from the Monsters, Inc guys. Based on how glitchy the Disney site has been this week, I'm hoping it will work the next time I try it. Thanks for the help!
