We have a Six day Dining plan arrive Sun leave Sat. I think it is pretty good.
Going Mid May.

Please look at it and see if makes sense.

Sun arrive and do Chef Mickeys. Always a good way to start a trip.

Mon Momma Melrose Fantasmic package. Is it worth it? My kids would probably rather do Sci Fi? I hate the hour wait for fantasmic. They have two shows this night, I am thinking the second one (EMH) won't be as crowded, so we won't have to camp out the seats.

Tues Nothing just use counter service

Wed Early dinner at Maya Cafe, it's close to Animal kingdom and AK has the EMH night.

Thur Hoop de do Revue First Timers for it! Do most of you do early show or late?

Friday Tangerine cafe CS and Dinner somewhere at Epcot.

I am open to suggestions as to dining in Epcot. We wanted to do Le Celliar or Teppakaki, but they will both be closed for renovations. I am leaning towards Coral Sea even though I am disappointed with the food and service there. I just love the view. Is the Chip and Dale CM good or just ok? I would rather get some great food at Epcot or a resort near it.

We did the hollywood and vine fantasmic package last time and I wasn't that impressed. We had to sit down by 5:00 and because it is buffet we were done by 5:50. Then we had to go directly to the show. We had reserved seats which is nice but we still sat in our seats for over a 1/2 hour with a 3 year old. He got kind of antsy. They only had one show that night that is why we did that. I have never eaten at Mama Melrose. Maybe it would be worth it for the food? It also depends on the time of year you are going. During a busier time the show fills up faster and slower times there is only one show. My family loved scifi diner. The atmosphere is something you will never be able to do at home. Also, burgers and shakes were great. Its alot of food. Good luck.

Epcot..... Garden Grill & in Germany.....Yummy!!!

Mid-May is a great time to go. You'll be spoiled by never* having to wait in line more than 10-15 minutes for anything (with proper use of fastpasses, of course).

The only restaurant on your list that we have been to is Tangierine Cafe. I got 2 snacks - the tabbouleh and the olives. I like tabbouleh, and it was good, but with the olives I expected to get whole marinated kalamata and maybe other types of olives. Instead I got a tiny cup of chopped black olives out of a can - the same standard flavorless black olives you'd get at on your pizza at a cheap pizza place. But hey, I can't speak to the full lunch menu items, and I hope they work for you.

Here's a suggestion for Wednesday. Leaving a park in the middle of the day for a TS meal at a resort takes a hefty chunk of time out of your touring day. Is AK the park you'll be at that day, both before dinner and then after for EMH? If so, think about Boma. The food is GREAT. AKL is closer to AK and if you will be using the bus, it's got good bus service (I haven't stayed at CSR but I haven't heard great things about the bus service there.) And it's a buffet, meaning you're in charge of how long your meal takes and how soon you can get back to the park. Then, for your Friday TS at Epcot, try San Angel Inn (the menu is similar to Maya Grill's and I think SAI is underrated - I absolutely cleaned my plate the last time I was there). Just a suggestion. I hope you have a great time!

Less than a month away? Unless you are not at all particular about dining times (if being offered 12 PM or 9Pm is fine by you) you should call dining right away, and take whatever's available in Epcot. Or, if you want to be spontaneous, theres plenty of CS options available in Epcot:goodvibes

didnt even think about Boma! I think we will do that.

Yeah in hingsight I should have reserved my dining even before I finalized my plans. I have already had to adjust with Hoop de doo on first night. All Chef Mickey has is 9:00 and later times, no one seems to want to miss Wishes I Guess! I have modified the plan. You can't see Wishes from where Chef Mickey is can you?

Still looking for good Epcot or Epcot area places. Leaving for a bit would break up a long EMH night at Epcot.
