My DIS-doubting Mom used the term/words...

Mini-Meet today!!!! She floored me!!

And, it was in direct reference to yesterday's Cubs game where I met robinb but, later found out that 2 other DISer's were also there. SHE said "it could've been a Mini-Meet"!!!

If you only knew how MUCH my Mom distrusts this WHOLE idea of the DIS and, more importantly, my DISConII trip, you'd be

as well!! I think she may be 'lurking' towards us real soon, if only she had a 'puter!!

There's hope for her, yet!!

Well honestly, my hot dog was horrible! The worst EVER. As for the beer, I'd have to ask DH! The Pink Lemonade & peanuts were quite nice though! Water for Mom.

Yes, the Cubs won the last game of the year, 7-3!! And, Sammy hit his 499th HR. It WAS a great end-of-season game!! "Wait until next year"!!!!
