This was actually the third time we had dinner at 'Ohana in less than a year. Last July they still had the old menu, but last fall, and last week, obviously the new menu was in place.
We seem to always have a good time at this restaurant, and this time was no different.
We've never had a bad server here, either, as I've read that others have had.
Ok, on with the pictures....
Let's start with the wonderful salad, with honey lime dressing, and the sticky wings:
The veggies:
The shrimp, the dipping sauces in the foreground, and in the background, the potatoes au gratin:
And finally, dessert! Bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and bananas foster sauce:
The plate of moist, steaming hot wash cloths, at the end of the meal:
We thoroughly enjoyed this meal. We were dining with friends and were a party of 5, and had a good time. During the meal, the ukelele player was having fun with the kids and had them up dancing and teaching them to dance the hula. At one point, a few of us at our table happened to look over towards the open grill and saw a VERY LARGE chef dancing the hula, while he cooked. We all looked at each other and grinned, and thought this was one of the cutest things we'd ever seen at WDW! LOL When the song was over, we all clapped and cheered for him! He turned around to look at us and then walked over to our table to chat with us. He was such a good sport, and posed with us (DH took the picture, so he's not in this one):
Ah, almost forgot to mention that the pork on this particular evening was excellent! Moist, cooked perfectly, and very flavorful! The beef was ok, tender and flavorful, but the piece I happened to have had some fat running through it, but everyone else said theirs was fine.
I give this 'Ohana dinner
