On our way to the airport after our recent WDW trip, we have to go thru several tollbooths. My DH thought he was being smart when he got to one and headed for the EZ pass booth as the other booth did not have the green light on. He figured there would be a person in the booth on the EZ pass side - NOT! So here we are, in the EZ pass side and no where to put our quarter. So my brilliant DH, who at this time realizes the other booth does have a real person in it - Takes the quarter and while yelling out the window "here's my quarter" flings the quarter on the ground outside the tollbooth. He figured the chances of them trying to track us down in our rented Sunfire were slim to none.........This made for a laughing fit for us on our way back from our wonderful trip! I'm still wondering if we'll ever receive a ticket from the State of FL...............

Those toll plazas are tricky sometimes. Hope you don't get a ticket...I doubt that you will

Actually, I believe they take a picture of your license plate and send you a ticket that way.

mam we dont laugh at law breakers on this board, we are finks

That happened to me TWICE 2 weeks ago - once on the way to O'Hare airport and once on the way to WDW. Both times the tollboths required a quarter and were unmanned, and I had NO change! I was told by a Mears driver that the one by WDW won't go after you unless you're a repeat offender. We'll see if I hear from National about that!

They've got those signs up there about the tolls being under video survellience 24/7. I hope you don't get a ticket.

We went through a un manned toll booth on the way to WDW in Nov. None of us had any change. We were looking under floor mats etc when the motorist behind us got very agitated because we were sitting at the toll booth too long. So we ran it. A buzzer went off. At the next attended booth we tried to pay the last and current toll. The attendant told us you were allowed to run the booth one time before receiving a ticket.

We have this type of toll booth. One time I accidently went partway in one and had to back out. Fortunately it wasn't busy at the time and a nice person behind me stopped far enough back to let me out into another line.
