My Dh's idea of packing

I told him he needs to get our luggage out of the attic so I can start packing our shorts and summery stuff. We don;t need the big suitcase he tells me - the big duffel bag should be okay. Huh Im packing for 2 adults a 5 yo and a 13 month old. One duffle bag! He is soo funny and clueless. I have to remind him again because we have less than a month to go! I really want to start packing!

Does your big suitcase have wheels? Tell him that he is in charge of carrying that big duffle or he can enjoy rolling the suitcase!

If you are flying, I'd suggest the big suitcase and the big duffle. With the new weight restrictions, it is better to take multiple cases. It also leaves more room for souvinirs!!

I was getting ready to post the same thing. Are you flying? If so the ONE huge suitcase may be EXPENSIVE. Airlines are charging between $25 to $50 for oversize and/or overweight luggage.

Wow. My DBF and I just went on a vacation 30 minutes from our home, and took 2 duffel bags, a suitcase and a bag of toiletries... for 2 nights!
