My DD5 falls out of bed!?

That's good that you figured out a solution. She'll probably just start staying more still when she sleeps before you know it. Jake, my 6yo, was the most wild sleeper and when we finally moved him recently from his toddler bed to his regular bed I knew that I'd need to find the bed rail, but I didn't know exactly where it was so I didn't have it for the first night. He didn't fall out so I never bothered putting it on and he hasn't had a problem, but the last time he slept in a regular bed (the last time in a hotel) he wiggled all over the place. Guess he reached a stage where he was more aware of his surroundings.

When my son was about two he got a new bed - double sized bunk bed with twin on top. He slept on the bottom. A few weeks after he got it, he was asleep and I heard him calling me. I went into his bedroom and he wasn't in bed, but I could hear him calling. Turns out, he fell out of bed at the head of the bed (we had bed rails on both sides of the bed) and was trapped between the head of the bed and the wall. Poor kid.
