DD is such a sweet little girl most of the time and the one thing she loves to do is help. She has discovered the laundry hamper and loves to take dirty clothes to the hamper. Well I keep the hamper by the laundry room which is very close to where we keep the trash can. You can imagine where I am going here....

She finds clothes and they end up in the trash rather than the laundry hamper. I don't know how many clothes we have lost this way in the last few months especially before I knew she was doing this. I know she is just trying to help but it is frustrating. I guess I should just move either the trash can or the hamper but I really don't have other places for them to go.

I am missing my favorite pair of shorts, she is missing a Dora shirt, I can't find two pairs of DS's jeans, one of her swim shoes is missing, etc.. She just decided to change her shirt because apparently the Nemo shirt was done for the day and I saw her take it off and promptly throw it in the trash.

The joys of raising a toddler.... ;)

Yeah, but she's cute so it doesn't matter what she does :)

That's a funny story. Hopefully she hasn't been throwing away your jewelry!

I'd put a different kind of garbage container there...one that didn't look like a garbage.

But, she is a cutey and you can forgive her :)

At least she's picking them up :) She is so cute though. Has that blond thing going too so you can't really blame her. ;)

Every time I see her picture I think of one of my little nieces. She's 4 so a little older but they have that same look, her mom blames those kind of moments on her hair. Here is a picture:

That is it....it is just her blonde moments! ;)

I don't blame her especially since she is just so proud of herself for helping. She gets mad if she sees you take stuff to the hamper yourself if she is around. I think she just gets confused sometimes on the way to the hamper. She sometimes get it right and sometimes she gets it wrong. :goodvibes

BTW - your niece is adorable. :)
