At the risk of stating the obvious, you can use points to get rooms at the Poly. You can also book VWL instead of OKW if you want to be close to MK. I can understand, of course, wanting to stay in your home resort on your first DVC trip.
well geez ... thanks for making me sound like a little brat.
haha chorlick is my mom. and for the record i wasnt the only one sad about not staying at the poly and i already new about splash. mothers... hahaha gotta love them
You know, she is absolutely right. I did make her sound like a brat. When I went though and read what I wrote, it was all fun to me, I didn't mean anything bad by it, but when I read it through her eyes, it wasn't very respectible on my part.
I guess I need to learn to be more careful about what I write. I'm sorry DisneyLover.
hey I love the polyn too - but for $300 to $400 per NIGHT - I prefer OKW.
OKW has 2 queen beds - it is not quite as big as Polyn. but remember OKW has that big bathroom - the Polyn unless you go with a suite doesn't. (or handicapped room)
but on our last trip to the Polyn - all mother kept saying I wish we were at OKW.... heating problems - it won't work unless the fan is on - and mother wanted the fan off....

To the OP - from this sounds of this post I'd say you're going to have a great trip and already have a great daughter - Disney lover - you will have a great time at OKW because you will be with family and that is what matters most. If the weather is warm enough plan a pool hop over to the Poly one day while you are at the MK for a couple of hours- maybe you could do lunch by the pool. Have fun
