My dd got elected Student Council President!!

Just wanted to brag a tiny bit! I'm so proud of her. I never would have been able to stand up in front of over 200 kids and make a campaign speech, lol. All the kids who were running did a really great job and it was a close race. I'm so happy because she is always saying that she doesn't have many friends and that noone likes her(not true at all!) and this will help her self confidence.

Congrats! My 9 year old is running again this year, she was on student council last year too...she just gave her speech yesterday. It really amazes me what she can do because I would not have been able to get up in front of just one class in 4th and 5th grade and give a speech nevermind the WHOLE 4th and 5th grades!
