On the way home from school yesterday, Sian was attacked and beaten by another girl from her school. She is in a right state and we spent most of last night with the police. Luckily, she has no serious injuries, except a bruise on her face and the loss of a bit of her hair (why do girls always have to be hair-pullers) but she is very shaken up.

I am hoping that the school will finally take the issue seriously as this girl has been making Sian's life hell for the last couple of weeks.

What I couldn't believe is that the school suggested we should keep her off for a few days :sad2: Surely this other girls should be the one to keep away :confused3

OMG Joh ~ Glad that Sian is ok:hug:

Hope that the school sorts it out.

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry to hear that :( Girls can be so much worse than boys with bullying. I'd agree about keeping your daughter off, just to help her calm down for a few days, but that girl should be suspended immediately and expelled. If she has done this to your daughter then she's obviously a danger to the other children too and someone needs to do something about her.

I hope Sian feels better soon and is able to carry on with her school life without fear.

I'm so sorry, hope things sort themselves out and that girl gets the punishment she deserves.

Oh God Joh, so sorry to hear this, I hope that Sian is ok. So we have a bully but Sian is the one who should stay away from school !! I agree as above that she probably needs a little time to get ovet this, but surely the priorities are wrong here somewhere ...

Please give her a huge hug from Ian and I xx

That's awful, Joh! Best wishes to Sian :grouphug: and I hope she feels better soon. Fingers crossed that the school take the appropriate action asap...

sending :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to you all
and hope the school and the police get this sorted out quickly :wizard:

That is horrible, I am really sorry to hear this, hope this girl is dealt with soon . :grouphug: Sending my best wishes to Sian.

gosh! that is terrible - so sorry to hear that.
I can't believe the school is not keeping the offender away as well.
Thinking of you

That's horrible, I hope Sian will be ok :grouphug:

Hope the police and school take this seriously and sort it out quickly.

Thats horrible Joh. Send our love to Sian.

I hope they suspend the girl who did it and thier parents are ashamed.

A couple of days would be good for Sian to hopefully calm down. As I said I hope they repremand the bully.

Oh no poor Sian.

Who'd have thought it would end up like this. Hopefully the school will sort out this bullying now - give her hugs from all of us

Tam

That is horrible to hear. Sending you all :grouphug: :grouphug: It must be horrible being bullied and seeing your daughter go through it. Hope everything works out ok for you all and the bully gets what is coming to her:mad:

Joh give her a hug from Theresa and me :grouphug: that's terrible , i hope they exspell the bully.

Isn't it wrong though how the school suddenly sit up and listen when Sian has been beaten up after it has been going on for quite some time.
The school should be ashamed that they never sorted this problem out a few weeks sooner then this may not have happened.
Sending you all :grouphug: at this terrible time.

poor Sian, I hope she feels better soon, I hope you get something done about this Joh, bullying is a terrible thing. Can you investigate the possibilities of charging the school with neglect? I'm not sure if its possible but they HAVE had prior warning about this other pupil so they are definately at fault.
