We had originally planned to go to MK on Tuesday, but we ended up in the doctor's office due to DD getting an ear infection. :sad1: So, we went on Wednesday instead. I am so glad we did. Tuesday turned out to be chilly and cloudy. Wednesday was absolutely beautiful and perfect. The skies were bluer than I had ever seen them. The temperature was perfect. And the park was almost empty.

Anyway...we had wanted to go on Peter Pan's ride, but noticed there was about a half hour wait. So, we got Fast Pass and headed to It's a Small World. Once we got off that, we still had about 45 minutes until we could use our Fast Pass. It was lunchtime, so we stopped at Pinocchio's restaurant next to IASW. While we were eating, one of the CM's came to our table. She asked DH and me if she could talk to DD for a minute. We said sure. She asked her name, DD gave it to her. She asked who her favorite character was. DD answered with Belle. She then asked where we lived. DD told her Chicago. She then asked if we would be there for a few more minutes. We said we would be.

A few minutes later, another CM came out and made an announcement. It was very hard to hear her. She then asked if there was anyone there who liked Belle. DD was busy eating and didn't hear her, so I prompted her to raise her hand. The CM then asked if there was anyone there from Chicago. Again, I prompted DD to raise her hand. The CM then came to our table and said, "Your name wouldn't happen to be 'G', would it?" DD got all excited and said that was, in fact, her name!

The CM told her to follow her so she could leave a wish for the Blue Fairy. DD followed her to the book and I informed the CM that she couldn't really write yet. The CM helped DD write her name then told her she could make a wish. DD said her wish was to see Cinderella, Tinkerbell and Wendy. Then, there was the sound of tinkling bells. The CM's said her wish was heard by the Blue Fairy and she had left something for DD. She reached in her pocket and pulled out a pair of Tinkerbell pins!!!! DD was sooo thrilled!

This was my second trip to Disney and this made it so special. It was my DD's second time, too, but the last time she was only 5 months old. This was my DS(12)'s first trip and he was so excited to see his sister get to make a wish. Disney really knows how to make things special. After we were done, we headed over to Peter Pan to use our FP's. As we were in line, there was a couple with a baby behind us. The CM reached in her pocket and pulled out FP's for the entire park and handed them to the couple. It was so neat to see how excited they were.

DH and I keep saying this was the absolute best day the 4 of us have ever spent together as a family.

Thank you, Disney!! :wizard:
