My daughter finds out about the trip today!

I don't know how we have pulled this off, but we never did let the secret slip! Tomorrow is her birthday, but since she has to go to school, we are having her little party this afternoon. After the other kids leave, she is going to go on a treasure hunt. At the end of the hunt, she will find a suitcase filled with WDW stuff and a letter telling her that in 19 days she is going to WDW. I can't wait to see her face!!!!

That's so exciting, Dana!!! I really admire you. I couldn't keep a WDW secret as long as you did. The news will surely knock the socks right off your DD. What a birthday present!

Well she just found out about 2 hours ago! We had a blast. When she opened the suitcase, she screamed at the top of her lungs, "I'm going to Disney World!" It was so much fun. After everything calmed down, she and I sat on the bed for over an hour looking at all of the gift certificates, park hopper passes, etc.. that I had gotten from rewards. I told that was what I had been doing on the computer so much and what I got from each program. It was so much fun!!!!!!!!

You're soooo lucky you got to "spill the beans" now....I have to wait till Christmas and IT'S KILLING ME!!!!! This weekend the DN was here visiting and he asked how much he would have to save to go to WDW! I told him I would pay for the airline tickets if he could save his half. So he was going home tonight and taping shut the bottom of his piggy bank so he could "really start saving!" If he stays with it at least he will have some of "his own money" to spend which somehow will be a lesson learned (I hope!) I already have his suitcase and it is filling up fast, thanks to rewards, TDS sales, and Gabriel and $Tree shopping.

Happy Birthday to the little one and hope she has a ball!!!!
